Pre-Reading:

My main man Xiao Zhan was destined for fame and positive recognition and there is nothing no one, no way, no how could ever say to me ever in all of life to make me think anything different. Before I get into the cards for the pre-reading, I want to talk about his fucking birth chart because some people have their shit laid out for them so clearly that it makes me want to beat up my own birth chart and he is a perfect example.

So, first off, I used to really not like looking at birth charts for celebrity readings because my fun little ability to see the actual imprints in the chart was not the best and things would get really scattered, but now it’s getting a lot clearer and I’ll sometimes start to see certain imprints before I even look at the chart which is what was happening here. I was seeing something going on between Mercury and the Sun, and then Saturn and Chiron in that order. Sure enough, he does have a conjunction between Mercury and the Sun, and then Saturn and Chiron are in opposition.

When I first looked at his chart my eye when straight to Chiron because it’s in Leo and I had just done Kim Seokjin’s Internal Alignment reading where I talked about his Chiron in Leo. In very basic terms, Chiron in Leo puts a strong focus on healing personal expression and the display of the identity. When this is overcome, it seems that people with this placement are set up for some kind of fame. It doesn’t necessarily have to be celebrity-status kind of fame, but it’s something where you would be on display willfully and there would be a lot of fulfillment and personal control in that area. It’s very interesting. So, he had that going on, however, this influence is opposing Saturn and was shown to be setting up a block.

Saturn is a gatekeeper, literal karma, doesn’t let you do anything fun until you’ve done the work — you do what you have to do before you can do what you want to do. So, Saturn, as I was seeing it, was sitting over there right on the very cusp of Aquarius and Capricorn blocking out even the slightest bit of awareness of Chiron because Xiao Zhan needed to do some WORK. What was that work? School and foundation building most likely.

Saturn is buddied up with Neptune, Uranus, and the North Node in Capricorn — Neptune and the North Node being in exact conjunction at 14°, near the midway point. It’s like Neptune was blocking out the North Node just as Saturn was blocking out Chiron, two very key players when it comes to purpose work and fulfilling soul desire and working on a higher path. So, in early life, what he was left with was Saturn and Uranus dealing between Capricorn and Aquarius. Uranus rules Aquarius, Saturn rules Capricorn. They were the leading stimulated heads, the biggest influences in his experience up until he finished “obligatory systems” or school, higher learning, and strenuous work, mental and physical, within social systems.

This was all based on foundation building. On a more conscious level, this would have been about creating stability for himself in one way or another through specific systems and routines (SCHOOL - seriously, something about school keeps coming up for him) that he could follow. This would have made his Virgo Moon, which is conjunct Jupiter, very happy. With the influence of Jupiter bouncing off of Uranus and Saturn, the Virgo Moon became the main funnel or bridge of that higher influence in the conscious mind that moved him towards foundation building.

In that time, he had his whole Libra thing going on. Like I said, his Sun is conjunct Mercury in Libra, so his ability to connect with people and make friends is amazing and through the roof. He probably comes off like a natural speaker even when he’s nervous. Not only that, but I was seeing the observational skill of Mercury coming through there as well helping him to be a better judge of character than most young Libras, meaning while he still may have been very sensitive growing up, he still maintained a decent standard when it came to who he hung out with and what kind of environments he chose to put himself in. The Virgo Moon probably helped with that as well. Very good energy there BUT!!

Uranus and Saturn both square the Sun and Mercury conjunction… so they blocked off the FULL POTENTIAL of that until there was a full foundation within and around himself that he himself had built. Then there was a trigger point. The trigger point occurred through sextiles and it literally just bounced around until all these pathways were cleared and everything could flow between the Ascendant, North Node, and Chiron.

Of course, I don’t have his birth time, so I don’t know where his Rising Sign actually is, but based on the time I used, it could be somewhere between Sagittarius and Capricorn. The imprints still exist without exact sextiles so take my reference to the Ascendant and sextiles loosely.

It starts with Mars in Libra which was shown to me as literally just getting turned on by Saturn whenever the foundations were considered stable enough to move up in terms of soul progression and development. The influence of Mars in Libra is a strong need to move and change things up and to get around more people, to be seen by people, to connect. This then triggered the Ascendant. As I said, the Ascendant could be somewhere between Sagittarius and Capricorn which would put his point of expansion and ascension in the realm of extremely big steps forward with a lot of potential risks, or a more sound and calculated progression — either way, Mars triggering his Ascendant made that move up and forward happen very quickly in terms of changing his mindset.

The changing of the mindset on a conscious level occurred as the Ascendant reflected that energy back at the Sun and Mercury, kind of making a wide boomerang situation happen within Libra. The Sun and Mercury, ruling over the conscious mind and superficial expression is what really put things into motion. The Sun and Mercury then bounced that energy over to Chiron.

As I said, Chiron was hidden so the “weakness” of it was not known fully until that moment when the Sun, quite literally, put light on it. Chiron in Leo shows where there is a lack of expression, a lack of identity, an area where your “true self” has to be formed and displayed without any outside influence. A lot of honesty with the self and with people around you is needed to really heal this and turn it into a strong tool to help you move forward.

When Chiron is recognized, when a “detriment” is recognized within the soul or the subconscious, and there is a need and a strong soul desire to change it, such as the influence from Mars and the Ascendant, Pluto will be activated to “kill off” or sever ties with the past self in order to move onto a higher path. For Xiao Zhan, Pluto is in Scorpio, the sign of its rulership, so this, for the influence of Pluto at least, could have been a smooth matter, especially with the will meeting on the conscious and unconscious level (Mars + Ascendant) wanting to go in a specific direction.

Pluto is in direct sextile to Neptune and the North Node, so the block that Neptune had on the North Node through its conjunction is severed completely. The fog of Neptune was lifted from the North Node, from that higher path in Capricorn, which does relate to public relations, fame, and money.

And then boom, there you go. He’s been riding that higher path ever since. His expression and his public recognition only continue to increase, he becomes more successful, and it’s almost guaranteed because he already did the work that Saturn wanted him to do, so right now, his career and how things play out is up to him on a soul and conscious level. As long as he works for it and stays true to who he is as a person, he will be well-loved and well-received by the public. And yes, the Mercury conjunct the Sun in Libra with Mars does make him a great actor through his ability to reflect the emotion and communicate a story through his expressions and body movement. Throat Chakra is hella strong, so his singing is spot on as well.

So, I will say again…

My main man Xiao Zhan was destined for fame and positive recognition and there is nothing no one, no way, now how could ever say to me ever in all of life to make me think anything different.

Now for the cards. I didn’t really know what to focus on here because so much came out with just his imprinting, so I was just observing and trying to get a read on the most prominent, overall energy that is just around him. With that, I got The World. It seemed a bit too spot on with the imprinting as The World being displayed as the overall energy it’s showing the completion of that Saturn work, the formation of the external foundations, as well as the internal foundations (recognition of self-identity and personal desire and the dedication to serve the self) all coming up and bringing this sense of harmony and ease to what is being acted on now.

Does that mean everything is all sunshine and rainbows for him on a conscious and physical level every day? Hell no, but his path is laid out. The path is laid out clearly, but what he chooses to do, where he chooses to stop, the detours he chooses to take while on that path are entirely on him, nothing else is really interfering.

This was further shown with the coupled pair of the reversed King of Wands and the reversed 7 of Wands. I was seeing this as displaying an image of a person who literally would have to go to war with external energies in order to maintain their path or current position. These are reversed so it’s showing that he’s NOT having to do that, he does not have to fight or find any kind of difficulty in maintaining this upward journey. Of course, as he is a human being existing within the 3rd-dimensional human consciousness, sharing the collective human experience, he’ll have physical obstacles. He’s famous, he’ll have to deal with hate and criticism that can put him in a low place. He’s in a competitive industry, he’ll have to deal with jobs being taken from him or missing out on certain things due to obligations, but opportunities will continue to come and he will find the endurance physically and mentally to handle it all.

That in itself was shown with the other coupled pair of the 3 of Wands and the 7 of Pentacles, both of which are upright. The 3 of Wands shows his level of control, how he is the one entirely bringing in and pushing out certain energies which manifest different situations and opportunities — which I hope he’s aware of to at least some extent, lol. Then that 7 of Pentacles is representative of those manifestations, seeds he’s planted that are simply growing and waiting for the right time to be harvested and become of use to him.

Just for reference, I wanted to show you how different those two states of being are, and these two cards, reflected through the number 7, show it so clearly. The 7 of Wands shows a man being batted at by people down below who want to knock him down, but if we were to look at those wands at the bottom of the image as plants, similar to the 7 of Pentacles, then they look more like weeds. They look like something the man has to try so hard to get rid of because it’s killing the plants he actually wants to see grow. They are obstacles that make his path difficult.

The 7 of Pentacles, on the other hand, show a full bloom of Pentacles which the man patiently waits for to reach perfection. There’s no fighting there, there are no weeds, no detriments. It is simply a matter of maintaining that garden, simply a matter of maintaining his path and current status for Xiao Zhan.

Finally, the last set of cards were what I pulled out of curiosity, asking what within his character, within his personality and mindset actually helps him to do this. A lot of people miss certain cues or activations due to negative mindsets and they kind of stunt themselves, so what was it about Xiao Zhan that made his conscious mind open enough to actually be guided subconsciously through these open ports present in the unconscious mind?

The first card out was the reversed 5 of Cups, showing he doesn’t really dwell on negativity, he doesn’t have negative mindsets. He can be in a low place, experience bad things and be upset about them, but it doesn’t ever root into his mind enough for it to become who he is as a person. It is just an experience. The 4 of Pentacles followed this, which relates directly back to the aspect of creating physical foundations for himself, the stability that he can fall back on which takes away any kind of personal desperation to make the fame thing work. He wants to be successful, of course, but there is no room for him to “sell out” or do things that he doesn’t personally believe in just to get ahead in the game. He’s not desperate, he’s stable.

The 3 of Cups then came out which is all about personal connections and strong relationships. Friends. He has a good support system with very close, personal friends and family that look out for him, cheer him on, and encourage him when he hits a low point or becomes stressed. Speaking of stress, the final card, the Queen of Pentacles, immediately hit me as self-care. Nurturing the body and mind, prioritizing personal health and wellbeing (a healthy, high vibe Virgo Moon, lol). He takes care of himself and he, where it counts, will put his personal feelings and understandings ahead of everything. He’s malleable, flexible, can work with a lot of people, but he won’t break himself for anything.

All of those things together, which comes from how he was raised, his own experiences in life, his own conscious development, became the toolbox that helped him to be so ready and susceptible to these higher influences that got him to his higher path. Very fucking rad, honestly.

The Reading:

Current State of Core Energy: Dolphin — Water

This made me laugh because I was just looking over the full spread trying to get a feel for the collective energy over it and the first thing that came to mind is that there is so much more to him than we, as an audience, would ever be able to see, and even he might never really be fully aware of what’s going on with him on a soul level. I was thinking this would be really hard to explain because it’s just so outside of our perspective, and then I opened up the book for this deck to read about this card thinking it may help, and literally, the very first line says, “The gifts of the Dolphin are beyond what our human minds can grasp,” and further down it said, “It is easy for Dolphin types to underestimate the impact they make in the world.”

Those lines, and the whole description really, felt very spot on with how I would perceive Xiao Zhan in general, just as a fan, but it also felt like a big glass Tupperware dish that surrounded the actual energy. If you look at the image of the Dolphin card, there are these rings of dots in the background. If you were to look at each of those rings as a layer of glass and the further inward it goes the more condensed and saturated the energy becomes, that’s what I was feeling. It’s like I’m on the furthest possible layer from the center, but it’s all glass so it can be observed pretty easily. There’s a lot there that you can see but it may be difficult to really grasp it if you can’t actually feel it.

Dolphins are known to be highly intelligent and are regarded as strong spiritual symbols in many cultures, but on the surface, they are so playful and open. It’s like what they are and what they present fits, but it doesn’t make a lot of sense when you think about it. They bring so much joy but you might not necessarily be awestruck when you see them like you would a whale, right? But that’s what’s so magical about them. They are so vibrant and carry such a high vibration, but they still feel approachable in some way, they don’t intimidate people.

People who carry this energy, especially in their core, are the kind of people who can easily make friends just by being themselves because, no matter what kind of personality they portray, they are open and understanding of the other, and it encourages others to be the same towards them. This also presents an aspect of healing, which Dolphins are known for. He may be so open and understanding towards others that they feel the need to be just as open and understanding towards themselves and other people all around. This literally lightens the mood, raises the vibration of the space, and on a more conscious level, it just brings a lot of comfort to people.

Within another one of those layers is the aspect of play and serenity which goes back to the 3 of Wands and the 7 of Pentacles, that feeling of literally creating the currents, or swimming through currents with ease and confidence as there is an awareness of that being his domain. It may not be totally conscious, but that confidence in his steps are there, and therefore there is more flow and ease, more room to simply enjoy his experiences.

So, the current state of his core energy is all encompassed within the Dolphin energy, this playful healer with divine intelligence, but it’s kept in layers that span out and thin out the closer they get to the surface, which lends to that conscious state of clarity and freedom. He knows but he doesn’t know, he has a perfect balance between ignorance of his own purpose and an awareness of it. Enough to know that he KNOWS what he’s doing but to also not feel pressure towards forcing himself into higher places in the industry. Perfectly centered.

Elemental Water Alignment: Eagle — Air (rev.)

This is going to be a little complicated.

When it comes to the balance of the internal world, as well as the processes that are rooted there, there doesn’t seem to be any straightforward conscious involvement, but those processes are “installed” into the conscious awareness at some point. It’s displaying a natural process of manifestation or integration from Water to Air to Fire to Earth, or the physical product.

The Eagle, as I see it, is a predecessor to the Phoenix, a Spirit card that came out for his Higher Self Core Alignment. The Eagle, when upright, talks about the Fires of karma, or the fire that burns the Pheonix to ash, the ash which it is then born from again. It’s like a cycle but it’s rooted here in his Water Alignment, in his internal world.

The fact that the Eagle is reversed here is not because the energy is reversed, it’s because the elemental influence is reversed, the modality of Air is reversed. Air is the conscious mind, the very surface level based on observation and experience. The “opposite” or the inverse would be Water. Intellect versus Intuition. So, basically, it’s showing a process of rebirth forming in the very center of his inner world, one of the deeper layers of the glass bowl thing I was talking about, and it will influence the conscious mind, but it won’t be consciously observed. It’s all energy, all internal guidance.

In terms of the card itself, it’s like the process of moving into the internal fires of karma is very much a thing here, but the conscious awareness and observational skills of the Eagle itself, related directly to the Air energy, is not present. His inner world is being run by this cyclical process that almost feels like a steam engine of sorts. Very interesting.

Elemental Fire Alignment: Peacock — Air (rev.)

This one is kind of funny because it plays into what I said about him not forcing himself into things that he doesn’t believe in or personally want to do, but it’s presented here in a really funny way. First off, the Fire Alignment shows where, how, and through what the core energy is being projected. Upright, the Peacock involves assimilation, kind of fitting in anywhere, putting on a show or a mask just to get with a certain group of people or to seem like you belong. Reversed, however, it’s giving me this vibe of, “lol, no.”

Basically, what is reversed here is this need to please other people or to bend and break in social situations to be accepted. There is no mask here, however, there is still that pleasant and polite persona being put out there. It’s like, as I was seeing it, the Peacock isn’t wearing a mask, but he does have his makeup on, you know? He’s not hiding himself, but he’s still putting his effort into showing a more clean-cut version of himself.

What made me laugh was this uninterested expression on the Peacock’s face. It’s like he’s listening to people talk, people projecting their own bullshit, and he’s just not really taking it in because he knows it’s bullshit. So, he’s projecting this “lol, no” kind of vibe at anyone and everything that doesn’t vibe with his open, understanding, honest, and free Dolphin energy shit. So, if he doesn’t like someone, if he doesn’t vibe with them, he’ll stand there and smile and be all nice but he’ll just be screaming, “away foul beast!” in his head until they’re gone and that is such a fucking Libra thing to do, I honestly can’t deal with it.

So, really, all of his projection goes into maintaining and protecting that personal energy, that personal environment. That in itself may be more conscious than anything when it comes to his own energy. He wants people around him that are like him, but like him in the way where he’s open and understanding of EVERYONE. If people come in being fake or expecting other people to be fake and judging them for being #REAL, he’s not down with it. He’ll entertain you while you’re in his space, but he won’t be the one to invite you back.

Lol, cut to me wondering for the next 20 years if I would pass Xiao Zhan’s vibe check.

Elemental Earth Alignment: Zebra — Fire (rev.)

Again with the thing being the thing it is, but also not the thing at all.

The Earth Alignment shows stability, groundedness, connection to the physical space, and also self-awareness. This goes back to the Dolphin energy and the conscious level disconnection or lack of awareness in his own potential. The Zebra, when upright, is such forward-moving energy, it’s very expansive, something I would associate with Jupiter or Sagittarius, even Aquarius, in action, mentality, and influence. The Zebra itself is described as a visionary, a trend-setter, and someone with a very broad perspective, a “big picture” kind of person.

With this reversed, it’s almost like Mr. Humble-Pants Xiao Zhan actively denies these qualities, or at least downplays them. He’s definitely aware of it because it wouldn’t be here if he didn’t recognize it in himself to some extent, but it’s reversed so he’s kind of pushing it down. It might be his humbleness on one end, and on another, it might just be a way to take the pressure off of himself. Having such a high view of yourself can also lend to having high expectations, which, as I’ve mentioned, is something that could kind of throw him off with unnecessary stress.

So, yes, Xiao Zhan is a visionary, a trend-setter, a very influential person in a lot of ways for a lot of different people, but he plays it down for his own reasons that actually do seem to benefit him.

Elemental Air Alignment: Gazelle — Fire (rev.)

The Air Alignment is directly associated with the conscious mind, conscious perception, superficial observation, and, of course, communication. This card here, the reversed Gazelle, reflects perfectly what has been shown throughout the reading when it comes to how he perceives himself and the world around him.

The Gazelle, when upright, is overstimulated. It’s on high alert even as it lays down relaxing because it’s out in the open, it’s under a spotlight, this giant Sun in the background, and it knows that it is open to predators. The ears are up high, the eyes are wide open and the head is turning back and forth in order to watch for the enemy. This reminds me a lot of the 7 of Wands, that need to constantly fight the weeds that are growing in the garden.

With this energy reversed, it feels like those last four cards from the energy reading — reversed 5 of Cups, 4 of Pentacles, 3 of Cups, and the Queen of Pentacles — all overtake this area, which would make sense since they were related to his conscious level development through personal experience, his personal observation of life. They settle the energy, they settle that Fire, and all that’s left of the Gazelle is the beauty, grace, and creative output. At its highest state, the Gazelle is known to simply live in the present moment, to simply, “sit down, find your breath, and acknowledge the bounty that surrounds you. Let it nourish your gentle spirit.”

This immediately made me think of the 7 of Pentacles. The comparison I made between the 7 of Pentacles and the 7 of Wands is the same duality here between the upright Gazelle and the reversed Gazelle. One is more stimulated and feels the need to fight, while the other is simply flowing through its own creation.

Higher Self Core Alignment: Phoenix — Spirit

And finally, we get to the Phoenix. The Phoenix is a Spirit card associated with the Root Chakra as well as past karma and reincarnation or rebirth. The Higher Self Core Alignment shows what the Higher Self is currently trying to push down into the core in order to aid in the progress of the current phase or to initiate a new phase entirely.

As I mentioned earlier, the Eagle is like a predecessor to the Phoenix, it leads you to the Phoenix, which then leads into a rebirth. And that’s what this is, it’s a rebirth, but it’s one that is continuously happening. The path that Xiao Zhan is on is his higher path and, at the moment, there doesn’t really seem to be one beyond it, he is actively serving his purpose and his progress is up to him and how he chooses to play it out in the physical space. Therefore, this rebirth is actually happening just like the Phoenix where there is nothing new coming into form, it is simply a refresh to the current state.

Visually, I was seeing this like a game of Mario Kart where you are cruising at a certain speed but then you go over one of those plate things that give you a speed boost. It doesn’t put you in a different car, and it doesn’t put you on a different track, but it does push you forward really hard, and it could put you ahead of other people if it’s timed right. Xiao Zhan has and will continue to experience these speed boosts and I wouldn’t be surprised if these speed boosts lined up with very influential opportunities in his career.

That’s all I have for this one, thanks for reading!
