Since late 2018 when I performed and posted Part 1 of this reading, it has been HIGHLY REQUESTED that I do a new one, especially now that Woojin has left the group. I’m actually quite excited to do this one, to see how the dynamic of the group has changed since Woojin’s departure, and to see where things were left off with the group energetically. Since this is a continuation or an update of the previous, the first part will focus primarily on the state of things when Woojin left since that would have been the last major shift that would have been collectively experienced.

This seems like pretty much what anyone could expect to see when it comes to a lengthy transition being made as things start to change outside of the realm of the members’ control. Pretty much, as soon as Woojin made it clear that he would be leaving, that it was something he wanted to do or was willing to go along with, which was a matter of discussion a while before he actually officially left, the group energetically and mentally excluded him and started to immediately work on deconstructing old internal structures and building up new ones for better operation.

To The Sea is literally the aspect of the whole situation being something that the group (without Woojin) had no control over and simply had to move with. The situation itself was the currents of the ocean and the members of the group were passive passengers on a passive ship flowing along. However, more control and responsibility came to the group with Chop Wood which, based on the basic interpretation of the card, is all about cleaning up a mess and getting things re-organized and put together, making things look presentable again.

I feel like not every single member was part of the effort to rebuild and establish a new dynamic with the group, and because of that, I would assume that the leader and the older members in general probably just took the responsibility on themselves to make the new system work and to maintain smooth sailing in spite of the rocky currents.

Both To The Sea and Chop Wood refer to things that are relatively superficial, very conscious within the members, and pretty basic or expected for the most part. The last set there, which includes ‘Why?’ and Between Worlds, shows deeper, more emotional, and for some may be more subconscious developments within the group. Between Worlds in this context here as I’m seeing it depicts struggle to transition from one state to another specifically because while they as a group or as individuals were trying to step into a new format, they were still mentally stuck in the past literally wondering why it happened. It’s like they, or just some of them, were trying to make sense of why one thing fell apart while trying to also focus on building up something new.

This doesn’t seem to have actually hindered or caused any major upsets with the progression into the new structure of the group, but it does feel like this fell heavy on some of them and they had a difficult time trying to understand where things were going to go from there.

This set here shows an outlook for the group over the next year and in general, it seems pretty calm and stable within the group itself. There’s a lot more support in the group and I think a lot of that comes from the very active restructuring or the sudden shift of the group being something that caused them to come together and really rely on each other to find their way again in terms of how they would function together. Loyal Heart really puts an emphasis on that, showing that even while the members can stay separate and have their own things going on, there is a solid commitment on all ends to maintaining the overall stability of the group as a whole. Compared to the previous reading which showed a few of the members actively being detached from the group dynamic, and some negative energy being passed around by others, this alone shows a much healthier state of being.

Between Worlds showed up again and at first glance this makes me think that there will be another change in dynamic or restructuring of some kind with the group. This could be internally based on changes made to the group, or it could be externally oriented based on changes made overall by the company or something to do with their work. Either way, it leads into Milk and Honey which is all about relaxation and ease. This could mean that they are transitioning into a more peaceful, rewarding period, or that they will literally find that transition easier to go through this time around simply because they have already gone through a similar situation before.

At this time, it doesn’t strike me specifically as someone else potentially leaving the group sometime in the next year.

  • The Devil + 9 of Swords (rev.) — Bang Chan (Leader, 1997, Libra)

  • Temperance (rev.) — Lee Know (1998, Scorpio)

  • 10 of Pentacles — Changbin (1999, Leo)

  • 8 of Cups (rev.) — Hyunjin (2000, Pisces)

  • Queen of Swords + 3 of Cups (rev.) — Han (2000, Virgo)

  • The Empress — Felix (2000, Virgo)

  • Knight of Pentacles (rev.) — Seungmin (2000, Virgo)

  • 9 of Pentacles — I.N (2001, Aquarius)

The first thing that I want to mention with this is that Hyunjin was very, very closed off energetically. It’s not anything negative, I’m pretty sure, it was just something that stuck out to me compared to all of the others. I was getting absolutely nothing but this pressure to get out of his space, and once I backed off and focused purely on his superficial projected energy the reversed 8 of Cups popped out.

The reversed 8 of Cups is interesting to me here because on one end it reflects that still, unmoving, pressurized feeling I was getting while trying to read into him, but it could also reflect an internal state based on this push and pull mentality. In terms of the more traditional meaning, the reversed 8 of Cups usually indicates that someone is having trouble deciding whether they should stay or leave the situation or environment that they are currently in, or they are having trouble figuring out exactly how to proceed. That mixed with this general blocked off and disconnected feel that really has him standing out in the group is kind of concerning, but again, it could just be some Pisces shit, self-isolating while he figures stuff out for himself. Also, could just be that he doesn’t like random people such as myself messing around in his energy field, so that’s something to consider as well.

Another bit of concerning nonsense that came out is Bang Chan’s projection into the group through The Devil and the reversed 9 of Swords. At first glance this set looks kind of scary, reminiscent of sets that came out in previous versions of this reading for this group, but really, most of the concern for me comes from the fact that there seems to be a lot of responsibility being put on him. I think he’s probably putting this specific responsibility on himself as it relates more to emotional and mental aspects of the group, which I don’t think are in his job description as the leader of the group. Basically, he’s functioning through the reversed 9 of Swords around aspects of The Devil. He’s putting a lot of focus, at least subconsciously, towards being very wary of and ready for internal upsets that he himself will need to alleviate in the group to avoid any turmoil.

The 9 of Swords, when upright, can relate a lot to past trauma or negative situations that now cause for present-day panic, worry, fear, stress, and anxiety. Depicted in the image of this card is an individual who has killed many people in war, as shown by their collection of swords that they took from their victims which hang above their bed. Consciously, they have moved on from the battlefield, but subconsciously they still hold the trauma which manifests as these nightmares which we see the individual waking up from in the image. Basically, it’s like Bang Chan is anticipating a nightmare that would manifest in the form of The Devil, which I think may refer to the idea that one specific person in the group will mess up and do something to either get themselves removed from the group or just decide to leave on their own and force the group dynamic to change again. He’s anticipating it, and with the 9 of Swords in reverse, he’s kind of locked and loaded on being able to fix it before any real issues come from this potential situation.

Again, this doesn’t seem like a super conscious, constantly on his mind thing, it’s literally this subconscious worry and maybe even anxiety around something happening that would for them back into that state of harsher transition. However, as I said before, if they were to reach that transition again and have to restructure the group, they would have an easier time doing it simply because they’ve done it before.

Lee Know seems to be in somewhat of a similar boat in the sense that there is still this anchor to him that is linked to past situations. It’s interesting because a lot of the time in groups I’ve noticed that the designated leader and the oldest/second-oldest member will share a specific kind of back and forth power dynamic in the group where they balance each other. Before, this dynamic was held between Bang Chan and Woojin, but now it’s shifted to be between Bang Chan and Lee Know. It’s a new power threshold for him specifically, and a new matter of balance. Temperance, when upright, is literally all about balance and creating harmony. However, in reverse, it shows struggle with creating and maintaining balance and maybe even struggling with over-compensation as a result of personal insecurity relating to this position.

For both Lee Know and Bang Chan, this seems odd to me specifically because it’s been about a year and a half since Woojin officially left the group, or at least made that departure public. Surely at this point, things would be settled enough that Bang Chan wouldn’t subconsciously hold this need to anticipate the worst, and Lee Know should have found more confidence or comfortability with the new balance of power. It just seems like there is an ongoing reason for them both to subconsciously and consciously feel unstable even after all this time has passed. It could be because there are still issues within the group, or there are some issues between the group and the company. Either way, it’s an interesting situation there.

Seungmin, who is projecting the reversed Knight of Pentacles, feels a little motionless. The active aspects of the Knight of Pentacles are slowed down here and it feels like he’s contemplating a lot more, almost like he’s trying to calculate not only his direction but his speed, his time, his energy, all that goes into getting from point A to point B. This would seem well and good as it would show attention to detail and effort towards preparation for something he sees as being a significant move, however, it feels like he’s unintentionally stalking or even procrastinating in some sense. It’s kind of like one of those situations where you write your to-do list over and over again because you have anxiety or insecurity around actually going through and starting the tasks at hand. It just feels a little stuck, but overall nothing terribly negative, it feels more personal as well.

As for Changbin, Han, Felix, and I.N. they all have self-focused and self-contained projections, but they are still linking up nicely to the group as a whole. This means that they are prioritizing themselves overall, but definitely have a much clearer sense of responsibility and position within the group.

Changbin and I.N have the 10 and 9 of Pentacles respectively. They are focused on work, building up personal platforms, and securing their futures as individuals. This can relate to a lot of different things such as personal music, branching out into other areas of entertainment, education, or starting or investing in businesses. Felix has The Empress which, in this context, shares a lot of similarities to Changbin and I.N.’s projections, but overall it feels much more internal. Where Changbin and I.N. feel just a little bit more straightforward and superficial, Felix here comes off a bit more psychological, philosophical, and even spiritual in some way. There’s a lot of creative energy being churned out there, but it’s being laid out, planted and nurtured, set up for future projects or goals.

Finally, Han does stand out a little bit more among the last four members here as he shows a very direct and maybe deliberate separation from the group with that reversed 3 of Cups, which accompanies his Queen of Swords. The Queen of Swords overall presents a lot of strong mental energy here and most importantly it’s coming off very independent. There is an effort towards maintaining independent thinking, maintaining an independent vision, to the point where he’s actively side-stepping some of the more emotional connections that he could have in the group. This doesn’t necessarily mean he’s completely out of the loop or ignoring everyone, it just means that like Changbin, Felix, and I.N. he is prioritizing himself and his way of thinking. It seems like for whatever reason he doesn’t want to be influenced too much by the others’ thought processes for whatever reason and very strictly wants to maintain a set pattern of logic.

Again, this can be related to a lot of different things. This can stem from solo work and simply wanting to stay true to his own vision and sound, this can be related to his mental health and just trying to stay clear of certain things, or it can be related to something a bit deeper, more personal relating to personal philosophy or spiritual outlook.

Overall, the whole group does seem a bit more stable than it did the last time I did a reading for them. There is still some odd clusters of energy within some of these connections, the most prominent one being between Changbin and Lee Know, but that has a lot more to do with subconscious insecurity around the sense of responsibility to the group and the power dynamic. I will say they still have this distance between all of them that I haven’t really seen with other groups all that much. This could just be how they as a group are, it could be how they were brought up in terms of how they were guided to function together by the company, or it could just be mismatched personalities still, even after these last few years, are trying to find ways to truly balance everyone together and thus struggle to really come together as a complete unit on all levels, both professionally and emotionally/mentally as friends.

That’s all I have for this one, thank you for reading!
