Details: The Relationships & Connections reading is designed to showcase the romantic, platonic, or familial relationship between two people and put their connection into perspective by presenting what is gained and from the relationship as well as the highest potential of it.
Before I can get into the main reading, I definitely need to talk about the energy signatures that came up with these two as individuals. To start off, Ohm’s energy was much more open and receptive, which seems to be a major feature of his overall energetic signature. There’s a lot of very stable and warm energy being emitted at all times, but it’s very controlled and streamlined at the same time, which seems to create a bit of pressure when it comes to how he processes certain kinds of energetic influences. This is what I saw for Ohm:
The blue represents this very clear energetic body that is incredibly receptive, on all ends at all times. In contrast, this red line that projects around that energetic body represents more of what he actually expresses or emits. When he is receiving a lot of positive energy, a lot of positive influence, love, kindness, and so on, he can’t help but reflect that. It’s a full body expression, expressed in his body language and facial expressions especially, even though it may not be projected verbally. He, without any filtration, will always reflect the positivity he is receiving at any given time. However, the very jumbled and almost explosive energy around his head is where things seem a bit concerning.
When it comes to negative energy, negative influences, negative behaviors around him or that he is on the receiving end of, he will very consciously make the choice to not allow that to be reflected or expressed. This is where a lot of that control is. He’s very conscious of it and therefore the filtration of this energy occurs in his head. Originally, I thought maybe this was indicative of Third-Eye or Crown Chakra stimulation, but those are receptive energy centers and he was displaying explosive projection. Quite literally it’s like he can not stop himself from taking those energies and influences in, but he can stop them from coming out, and from there they build up and eventually explode out of his head. This is where involuntary verbal expression or a less controlled face may occur. People who know him very personally, people he would be comfortable expressing this with, or people he feels okay letting that guard down around may even describe him as hot-headed or easily stressed.
He’s very careful to not allow that expression to come out publicly, but it’s like a volcano, when it erupts it erupts, and there’s no stopping it. This, of course, doesn’t imply a massive outburst or physical violence, it’s still very concentrated around his head, around his facial expressions and his words. When he is at a “breaking point” it may be the slightest of things that actually set off that explosion, thus leaving people around him quite confused about his reaction or attitude, while also leaving him somewhat embarrassed or ashamed of his lack of control over his emotions.
This feels a lot like the transition between Pisces and Aries, this grand receptive space followed by a rather chaotic explosion of expression. There’s also a reflection of the transition between Scorpio and Sagittarius as well, but that would imply a more… sophisticated (?) or well-polished version of taking in both the positive and the negative and being able to project it all in a positive and constructive way. Considering that, according to what I was able to see online, Ohm is an Aries (some websites say Pisces) while Nanon is a Sagittarius, this may show a higher connection based in balancing and “leveling up” each other on a soul level as well as a conscious and physical level.
Compared to Ohm, Nanon’s energy was very, very closed off at the time of this reading, and I do believe, based on what I saw going forward, that this is a temporary state, but one he may have some trouble allowing himself out of. Because Nanon’s energy was so closed off and guarded, the observation was “from a distance” and with that came a bit more of an abstract image that I tried my best to draw:
Nanon’s energy itself is represented in this bean-shaped stone, smooth like the ones you may find in a river bed, polished by the running water. This would imply a similar level of receptivity as Ohm, but rather than fully taking it in, it moves around him, shaping him in both positive and negative ways. When I was seeing this image, the stone (along with everything else in the image) was red but there was also a brighter red light pulsing slowly from within the stone.
This stone, representing Nanon and his receptive sensitivity, was shown to be sitting high up in a tree, on a tree branch, that was surrounded by very thick cobwebs. I usually think of spider webs as something to represent attraction or trying to acquire something, trying to draw something in, but here, these webs were well worn and thick, almost like they weren’t meant for catching things, they were just there to hide the stone, to deter anyone or anything from trying to get close. In the background, far off and away from the stone itself there was quite a chaotic storm with very thick red clouds and almost continuous lightning.
What was most interesting is that while I was looking at this, I was more drawn to the storm, almost like I was being forced to focus on the big clouds, bright lighting, and loud thunder. It was like Nanon would want people to believe he is the storm and not the stone, he’s the water that runs not the stone that the water runs over. It feels connected to some level of insecurity or sense of instability within his own receptivity and sensitivity. He, on all levels, seemed to be creating a lot of distance between himself and other people, both in his personal life and his public life. This seems to bleed into and become a major part of his connection with Ohm in later parts of this reading.
When I focused in on the stone there was a lot of pushback, but I wanted to see what was there in terms of what he may be trying to block off or even cut off from himself. This is all I was able to see:
What he is hiding or covering up is this aspect of energetic splitting that he experiences. It’s a very specific thing and it confused me for a while as usually when I see energetic splitting, the energetic body with look torn with jagged edges, pieces missing. However, for Nanon, it was almost like a banana and an onion mixed, layers of a peel being pulled back in these smooth, rounded edges, but nothing was ever actually leaving him. It seems intentional on his part, but what doesn’t seem intentional is the fact that he can’t put these pieces back.
What this made me think of the most, considering his career, is the idea of actors “splitting their soul” or creating space for another soul within their body in terms of adopting a character into their being for the sake of being able to give the best performance possible. When I’ve seen this for actors, as well as other performers, there are usually one or two splits that are easily put back together and fused back into a whole structure. Here, Nanon seems to have multiple splits, each one getting closer and closer to his center, and he can’t fuse them back together.
He’s sort of dismantling himself and it would seem this stone in a tree surrounded by the webs is evidence of him trying to step away from that or create a whole new persona (the storm) that will overtake everything, give him a whole new structure that completely opposes who and what he actually is. This is why it seems temporary. It’s an extreme swing in the opposite direction, a kind of extremist mindset that says doing the exact opposite of what is causing you trouble will surely be the solution. Unfortunately, it is not and it seems to create a kind of “explosive” projection like Ohm's, but one that is more constant.
Again, this doesn’t translate as aggression or violence, more so upset words or something in his body language that says, “don’t look at me, don’t talk to me, don’t perceive me as anything other than this big booming storm.”
Now this is the bit where things started to get interesting. I was having a lot of trouble seeing their energies and how they actually came together. There was a harsh block between the two in spite of this sort of tether extending from Ohm in Nanon’s direction. This energetic block was mostly occurring on Nanon’s side but it was very strong as it had to operate against a more natural or necessary connection between the two. In essence, he was consciously denying a soul connection that was extremely important to his own state of being and development. So, I decided to pull some cards here to get an idea of where things were on varying levels of their connection. This is what they got:
The two outer sets represents Ohm and Nanon as individuals with the center set being how their energies connect. The top yellow cards represent the soul state, the tarot cards represent the conscious state, while the astrological cards in between represent the higher conduits through which the soul state can meet the conscious state.
In the center, the soul state or the purpose or intention behind their soul connection in this life time is based around the Root Chakra and Healing, or healing the Root Chakra, healing and building on personal foundations. This influence moves through Eros, implying that they would both receive this Root healing through a deeply intimate (not necessarily romantic or sexual), deeply emotional connection. This would manifest most notably through the Ace of Pentacles — work, money, opportunity, luxury, and a path toward a very secure future.
The left side, marked with The Emperor, represents Ohm. The Emperor is associated with Aries, so that strong, fiery energy is there, however, it also shows control and stability as well. On a higher soul level, what he is aiming for or what he needs access to in this lifetime is the Merkabah. The Merkabah is described as an access point to higher realities and a tool used to, in a sense, bring higher blueprints down into the 3D, manifest, essentially.
On the right side, Nanon is represented by the Queen of Swords on a conscious level, while his higher soul aim or necessary element for soul progression, is represented by Remembrance. This is interesting as it pulls him back to his Root, back to his baseline, back down to Earth, while Ohm’s is all about getting his feet off the ground, leaving his baseline, soaring beyond reality.
Their conduits, the astro cards, are even more interesting as it comes off as if they each are carrying each other’s access points, they are each other’s keys to personal progression and growth on a soul level.
Ohm is carrying Cancer, connecting to the 4th House, the home base, the root, the conduit through which Nanon would access Remembrance. Nanon is carrying the 9th House, Sagittarius, this energy of expansion and higher-level awareness, through which Ohm would access the Merkabah. This is just screaming twin flames, but it’s important to know that outside of “pop spirituality” twin flames are rarely something to look forward to or to hope you have. They tend to be very chaotic and very temporary connections where, just as shown here, two people hold each other’s access points. They come together to make a trade which causes them to expand quite rapidly in their own directions, and from there it can create a lot of instability energetically and consciously, which then is expressed in that connection breaking down and coming to an end. A lot of people stay very close to their twin flames, however, the connections are often quite strained once they’ve made the trade because they continue expanding in opposite directions. You can visualize it like this:
The only thing that keeps this in good spirits is the aspect of Eros denoting a deeply intimate and emotional connection, one that they may both rely on and find support in for a very long time if they so choose to maintain it and not… you know… create unnecessary blockages for the sake of not wanting to be seen as this overly sensitive and receptive person at the mercy of their own emotions.
The three Tarot cards at the front really paint a clearer picture of the current state of things. Ohm, The Emperor, is in a very high and stable place, which leads me to believe that he has accessed the 9th House through Nanon already, he has had his upgrade that would allow him to fully turn dreams into reality and create solid success for himself going forward. However, Nanon, as the Queen of Swords, as a minor arcana, seems to still have not accessed Cancer through Ohm, and therefore has not accessed Remembrance. He has not gotten back to his roots or put his feet on the ground — which really elaborates more on the idea of him wanting to be seen as this big booming storm and not the stone in the river.
The Emperor, in his left hand, holds a little golden ball thing, which I was seeing as the pentacle in the Ace of Pentacles. His hand is reaching across the way toward the Queen of Swords. The Emperor is trying to give the Queen her share, Ohm is trying to give Nanon something, which for him, on his end, would only register as emotional support and a foundation to stand on (Cancer).
The Queen, however, is turned the opposite direction, hand outstretched like she’s waiting for it, but her sword, a symbol of cold, harsh logic here, a lack of emotion, and intentional lack of receptivity, cuts this hand completely off from the rest of the body.
I was seeing this as Nanon’s soul begging him to turn around and look at Ohm, to go to him for emotional comfort or stability, but he, on a conscious level is so upset with this deeper need that he “cuts off his own hand,” or cuts off the access, the connection, and creates a kind of cold environment where he, as the Queen of Swords, can’t even look at Ohm, or The Emperor. Again, this seems temporary because of how desperately the soul is seeking out that conduit in Ohm, like he’ll have to give in to it eventually or else he’ll unintentionally stagnate himself. Ohm could easily move on from this position, he’s in his full power to do so, but The Emperor seems to have no interest in leaving the Queen behind or taking what is rightfully hers with him.
Going back to that vision of Nanon’s energy being split, but intentionally split with smooth edges, it brings to mind the idea of the Queen cutting off her own hand in order to not reach for The Emperor. Nanon may be trying to cut off parts of himself that are inherently interwoven with Ohm. Considering their work together, and the potential of perhaps holding onto a character (or split soul) for a long time, it’s quite possible, through Eros, that he developed very strong feelings for Ohm that could not be regulated or let go of, which led to a rather upset emotional space that made him quite afraid or defensive. If you can imagine Nanon as the stone in the river, and Ohm as the water of that river, the effect that the water has on the stone, the effect that Ohm has on Nanon is what he’s trying to hide, not only from other people but from himself as well.
Another aspect of defense here is that while it is up to Nanon to raise Ohm into a higher position (as that is where he himself starts out) it is up to Ohm to bring Nanon down to Earth, into the 4th House, into Cancer, in order for him to heal his own roots and create a stable foundation. For Nanon, who starts up so high, who already carries that Sagittarius/9th House energy, it can feel like an overpowering or even damaging effort for Ohm to come and try to pull him down.
In The Queen of Swords, there is a storm building in the background and a bird flies through the sky, right above the Queen’s head. In comparison, The Emperor sits in front of mountains, deeply rooted into and part of the ground, but rising high into the sky. The storm and the bird, in the image, have no anchor, they are unstable, and they will not remain there for long unless they anchor into something on the ground. It’s kind of abstract, coming through as the storm raining down into a field that then grows abundant crops for years to come, or the bird settling in a tree to lay eggs and continue on through the next generations. There is no destruction of the storm or bird, just an opportunity for them to continue in an alternate form.
Another aspect of balance or connection I wanted to point out is how closely connected those conduits are. Cancer is Cardinal Water, Firery Water, while the 9th House, Sagittarius, is Mutable Fire, Watery Fire. They are inverses of each other and again reflect both the transition between Pisces and Aries, and Scorpio and Sagittarius (Water to Fire, internal to external, down to up). Pisces to Aries would be more externalized, while Scorpio to Sagittarius would be more internalized, more personal, and individualistic.
Energies being projected into the relationship currently:
Ohm: Queen of Pentacles
Nanon: Six of Swords
At first glance, this seems to reflect The Emperor and the Queen of Swords again with Ohm, as the Queen of Pentacles, standing with an arm full of things to give, while Nanon, as the Six of Swords, rows his boat away, creating a distance that seems to confuse the Queen of Pentacles.
With the Queen of Pentacles, there is a lot of inherently nurturing and comforting energy, again ringing back to Ohm’s hold on that Cancerian energy that Nanon needs. It’s very stable and strong, just like The Emperor would be, but here something has softened. Something has cooled the Fire and softened the Earth in The Emperor on a very conscious level, and this is how Ohm seems to want to approach Nanon.
The Six of Swords traditionally depicts people who are fleeing from unsavory situations, often times showing many swords standing upright in the boat alongside them, representing the thoughts and words that lend to uncertainty and an unclear outcome. In this card, however, there are no swords and there seems to be a clear destination in the background. With this, it seems like Nanon is going where he’s always wanted to go, where he’s meant to go, but he’s going on that journey without all the supplies that Ohm can give to him. In other words, he’s physically heading towards something he is meant to achieve, but his soul is not fully equipped to make that journey yet without those roots.
The Queen of Pentacles is standing on shore, arms full of food, supplies, and pleasantries for her companion as she watches him sail away without them, not even looking back at her to wave goodbye. There’s confusion there, but no grief, which leads me to believe that Ohm, whether consciously or unconsciously, has an awareness that eventually Nanon is going to turn around and come back, eventually the Queen of Swords will face The Emperor again, because he really can’t continue on without those supplies, without that fair trade.
How They See Each Other:
Ohm sees Nanon as: Ten of Swords
Nanon sees Ohm as: Four of Swords (rev.)
This registers for both of them as very superficial, a very conscious level observation of the other with much more clear lines between them that would suggest a limited amount of communication and understanding.
Ohm sees Nanon as the Ten of Swords, as this ultimate ending. Traditionally this card represents an undeniable death, usually depicted as a dead man laying face down with ten swords in his back, suggesting a lost battle, as a storm begins to either clear or form in the background. Here, with this image, it feels more like a trap. He’s seeing Nanon as someone caught up in thier own head, trapped by their own thoughts, and heading for certain doom.
Literally, it’s the perspective of the Queen of Pentacles, watching her companion row away without the things he needs to survive. It comes with a bit of something that is hard to explain or label specifically, hard to tell if it is conscious or unconscious, but it comes off like Ohm is saying, “Why are you separating from me? You can’t survive without me.” It holds just a bit of this overbearing energy, maybe a bit too “i know what’s best for you” which most people with a lot of Sagittarius energy like Nanon probably wouldn’t appreciate and would fight against on some level.
Nanon sees Ohm as the reversed Four of Swords, and this made me chuckle a bit. The Four of Swords, upright, denotes a time of rest following a major upset or loss. It’s a time to collect yourself, heal, rest, and prepare from the clean up and continuation of the mission. In reverse, it’s an inability to rest, an inability to separate. Essentially, Nanon on seeing this overbearing, “Too soft! Too tender!” energy as something exhausting.
Ohm, like the Queen of Pentacles and The Emperor, still has SO MUCH to give Nanon, but for him, in this time of trying to be less receptive on all levels, trying to be more independent, he’s almost taking offense to it. He’s offended by the suggestion that he can’t continue on by himself, but in that, his ego takes over and puts him in positions where he may end up stagnating and end up just spinning in circles. Luckily, as I said, this seems temporary as the soul is really screaming for that connection again so that Nanon can collect his conduit through Ohm for his own progression.
Current State of Relationships: Ace of Cups
This was a bit of a bummer as it displayed the one-sidedness of the current connection, where one of them is very open and waiting to give while the other seems to disappear and disconnect quite frequently. I was seeing it in comparison to the 2 of Cups in this deck:
The Two of Cups is where they are naturally, when the Queen of Swords and The Emperor face each other and make their trades and find support and understanding in each other. The closeness and connection of the heads also display more of what I was seeing with Eros where the connection is very deep, very intimate, but may not be a “full body” or romantic connection.
The Ace of Cups feels like its waiting very patiently, but there are a lot of sensitive emotions here making it a bit unclear of how to proceed back into the Two of Cups.
Highest Potential of Connection: The Star + Six of Pentacles
This is quite lovely. The Star represents that higher soul connection while the Six of Pentacles represents that trade, or more specifically, Nanon receiving his end of the deal. In the image of the Six of Pentacles, Ohm would be the bird with the flowers on its back, the one that flew high with the wings Nanon, represented by the mouse, gave him. Nanon, as the mouse, the one who is meant to be rooted into the ground, looks up and reaches towards what Ohm can give him in return. There are also scales hung on the branch, furthering the aspect of equal exchange which is part of the traditional meaning of this card.
I also like how the bird bends down to peck at the gound and the mouse extends itself upward, again showing that balanced connection where the whole point, in a sense, is to create these strongly rooted foundations on both sides that allow both of them to expand upward infinitely. It’s just a matter of Nanon being okay with the fact that he has to come down a bit before he can build up even higher than he was before. And in that, he has to embrace his sensitivity and receptivity, and not be afraid of how much his form is shaped by what he takes into himself.
This is such a potent and very specific kind of connection, I highly doubt they find this kind of peace and chaos in equal measure with anyone other than each other. Whether that’s good or bad, that is purely on them to decide how things play out from this point.
That's all I have for this one, thank you so much for reading!
