BTS Collective Energy 2023 — 2025

For this reading, I wanted to keep it simple as there are not any important things happening that could influence the collective, and this reading is meant to cover the time period between all seven of them going through and coming out of their mandatory military service, which is intended to be complete by the end of 2025. With this, I’ve just done an energetic observation of the current and recently passed states of being for the group and individuals, and have also done an energetic outlook observation for the group and individuals in 2025. Here, we can begin with the group’s projection and outlook.

On the left side, this set represents the group's last energetic projection when they were all together as a unit. The centerpiece is The Poet, which is about creative and honest expression, as well as this sense of timeless transition and personal evolution. In this context for them, this card came with this feeling of release and a tinge of grief for what was being released. It’s as if when they initially separated, as in when Jin went in for his military service, they weren’t letting go of Jin, all seven of them were letting go of their lives up to that point, who they were, and who they knew each other to be. With this, and leading up to Jin’s departure, that deep and personal questioning around who they are, what they want as individuals, and what they feel they can achieve on their own was bubbling up in all of them and for the most part, the answers came for all of them within the realm of writing, producing, and performing.

This is a piece of The Poet’s description for reference: “When The Poet's energy is present, there is a call for deep honesty and reflection, for seeing the big picture within the little one. The Poet rides effortlessly between the personal and universal. It’s possible that others may not seem to listen or care about The Poet’s work, but do not be discouraged. The words of The Poet ring true for centuries to come, soothing the wounds of despair and violence that captivate our world. The Poet’s work is never finished. Find your voice, and trust that the wind will carry it.”

Around The Poet, there are four sets of cards to help elaborate on and display areas of focus or significant projections from the main state of The Poet. At the top, there is the Page of Pentacles with the 2 of Pentacles, which connects down to the left side with the Ace of Pentacles. These three put a lot of attention on money, finances, resources, and connections, and the assessment of these things for the sake of planning things out going forward. This can be in relation to planning out a certain budget for solo production, performance, and advertising with the company, or this is more about thinking ahead about what their careers will look like at the end of their service and getting things in order for whatever “yes” or “no” they’ll face when they come back.

On all fronts, as we have seen, this can also go into the actual creation and display of solo work from the guys that we’re seeing now and have been seeing since before Jin left. The Pentacles would just reflect more on the money-making and money-spending side of things. Strength, with its connection to Leo/5th House or performance and artistry, along with its connection to ego control and display of persona, represents the more outward claiming, exaggerating, displaying the individualistic identity that would separate each of the members from the group and allow them to be recognized publicly and also in the industry as solo artists. The Ace of Cups at the bottom is a reflection of individualistic creative flow and for some of them, it felt like an opportunity to spill or to finally let certain levels of their own expression spill out of them.

Because it relates to the potentials of seven different people at the end of a 2-year timeframe, the second set is much more basic and holds only simplistic shapes rather than creating a full form of a demonstration of what the energy between the seven of them will be like in 2025. In the center, there is The Seed which really sets the tone there for a solid new beginning. This is great to see as it is showcasing an insane amount of potential, and a lot of different directions that they could choose to go together or as individuals, but as of right now, it really is all still so in the air and undecided that the best way to look at their future now is as a seed that hasn’t been planted yet. The seeds they’ve been planting for themselves as individuals are already sprouting, and for some of them they’ve already reached full bloom, but the next step for the group is left open for future consideration.

On the top and bottom, The Moon and The Wheel of Fortune come together to create this big, foggy whirl-wind feeling that will, when the time is right, kick up the storm that will allow The Seed to get water. These two energies represent the moment of impact, the moment when they’re all together again, fully able to get back into a creative groove without any outside influence of obligation looming over them. The Moon specifically is what creates the fog or represents the uncertainty of what exactly that seed will grow into, demonstrating the complexity of potentials a situation can take on when there are multiple levels of consciousness of multiple people over a long period of time to consider.

On the left and right, there is the combination of the King and Queen of Wands and the 8 of Wands. While The Wheel of Fortune and The Moon create a lot of chaotic and momentum-filled energy, the King and Queen come together to actually control and direct that energy, streamlining it into the 8 of Wands in order to create more physical movement, something to demonstrate personal authority and creativity. Just the same as The Seed, the 8 of Wands itself only reflects potential, not giving any clear indication on where the energy, represented by the flying wands in the image, is coming from or going, we just simply know that it will be there.

It is comforting to know that, as of right now at least, the outlook for the guys as a group shows that personal control and open communication, and balance between the members will still be there and any choices they come to on how to move forward in 2025 and beyond will be choices they make together.

Jin

In the smaller, individual sets, it's the same kind of layout with what you see on the left is their energetic projections now, or before they went in for service, and the potential energetic state that they are in line for. The three cards specifically represent higher guidance, higher drive, or Higher Self influence, the soul state, and then the physical or conscious reflection or potential based on the higher influences or direction.

For Jin, prior to going in for his service, his most prominent external influence was represented by All That Glitters while his soul state was reflected by Adaptability with The World representing his conscious and physical state. This all together feels like a very “it is what it is” kind of vibe, something that is recognizably too big to even think too much about because you know if you think too much about it, you’ll feel too much, and if you feel too much, you’ve screwed yourself.

It’s such an interesting thing to see because it’s almost like he was lying to himself, which is what All That Glitters refers to. No one lied to him, he lied to himself, seemingly as a way to comfort and console himself around the idea of having to put an end to his life — and that is exactly what this feels like the end of life, but one that comes on like a tsunami while you’re standing on the beach. You already know you can’t run so you just shrug and hope it doesn’t hurt too bad. The World and Adaptability together, the soul and conscious state here show a passive acceptance of the lies in All That Glitters, but the lies there were ones told by Jin. His own composure and ease in the transition, by this set, would have been something he put on to comfort the other guys and the fans.

On the right side, Jin’s potential future state is first represented by the higher external influence of guidance of Chop Wood, the soul state of Empathy, and the conscious or physical state of the Page of Swords. This feels really, really different from Jin’s previous state, and that’s kind of weird considering how different the previous state feels from Jin in general. Here, it feels like the transition back into “real life” will be somewhat difficult, as if this All That Glitters, these little lies he tells himself become so much of a coping mechanism that it just becomes difficult to cope coming back out. It seems more stress-related and related to the structure and routine that he operates in now and over the next couple of years.

The Empathy alongside Chop Wood gives me this sense of becoming way, way too easily influenced by other people which is making me think of assimilation and conformity, but that’s literally what military service is, so… Basically, it feels like he’s training himself or has been training himself to be perfectly perfect and perfectly fine during his service, but that “training” wont be easy to turn off when he’s back out and trying to operate the way he did before. The Page of Swords even demonstrates the new mentality and potentially new outlook or future plans based on the new mentality picked up while doing his service.

Yoongi

Yoongi’s current state is very interesting with the higher influence being represented by Time For A Nap, his soul state is represented by Detachment, and his conscious or physical state is represented by The Lovers. This just screams high levels of personal alignment and soul stimulation. The Detachment and Time For A Nap energies are both more internalized, so the soul is detaching and resting, most likely something to do with the past states of the Soul Body, which is probably for his own regulation and healing on a higher level. Yoongi was one of the most active on a soul level during the time of the Soul Body. The Lovers showcases personal alignment occurring on a conscious level, feeling very confident, aware, and in his element as of right now, and is probably having an easier time communicating and connecting with people 1-on-1 because of how detached and protected his soul is.

On the right side, Yoongi’s potential future higher guidance is represented by Higher Power, with his soul state being represented by the combination of Exaltation and Optimism, and his conscious and physical state being represented by the 8 of Wands. The 8 of Wands here shoots right back up to the 8 of Wands in the potential future for the entire group, which shows that Yoongi, without a doubt, will be the most active or the most “ready to go” when it comes time for BTS to work together again or for everyone to be working creatively again in general.

That personal alignment and soul healing seems to be something that lasts over the course of the next couple of years and solidifies itself as a very solid and very clear connection to the soul and higher self, enough so that the conscious and physical body become just a conduit of the Higher Self’s will. Especially with the soul state itself being Exaltation with Optimism, both of which are associated with The Moon, there’s just this very potent energy here for creation and movement, and Yoongi will definitely be the one to trigger it in everyone else.

Hoseok

Hoseok is in an interesting spot, and similarly to Jin, it’s like he’s in a spot he’s never been in before, or at least its an energy I’ve never observed him projecting before. Currently, the higher influence is represented by Not For You, while the soul state is shown with Seduction. Then, his conscious and physical projection is shown with the Page of Swords. It’s a mixed bag here, but what it feels like the most is this complicated view or praise and adoration that is altering the way he sees things and his own future. To put it simply, it’s like all the praise and love he’s getting for his solo work is still a shock for him so he’s trying to love it and take it all in while also being very loud in his own head about how it’s not going to last, it will be over in the blink of an eye, it’s never going to be like this again. There’s a wave of weird anger to it that comes through Seduction, like there’s just a bit of anger in the soul around the fact that he’s only just now experiencing this level of love just for him, and its right before he has to “end it” and join the military.

The Seduction card also stands out to me with its relation to Jupiter in Pisces or the planet of expansion in the realm of shadows and fog. Both Not For You and Seduction feel distorted or heavy, but this distortion is occurring subconsciously, closer to the Page of Swords, who is adopting new mindsets and outlooks as we speak.

The soul is angry and frustrated and I can see it in my head as reflecting the previous position in the Soul Body. Hoseok was the Throat. He was the center of communication and expression, he, on a soul level, fueled everyone’s ability to express and be heard in their own right as their own person. Now, as they are all separated, he himself is finally being heard but he, on a soul level, feels cheated by this in a way. He has more to say but consciously is being somewhat cold with himself, reminding himself that there’s not a lot of time.

Much like Yoongi, Hoseok always has a great and clear connection with his soul and higher awareness, like it's a clean connection, but there’s always some level of distortion that ends up settling in the conscious and physical space as frustration, confusion, fear, or physical pain.

The potential future for Hoseok is laid out with the higher influence being Chop Wood, the soul state being Escape, and the physical and conscious state being represented by the Ace of Wands. This feels like the pressure of the current state builds up and pops (not explodes) into the physical and conscious state of the Ace of Wands and the soul state of Escape (Mars in Pisces). There’s just this burst of sharp, hot energy that stands alone with the Ace of Wands and Escape as Chop Wood, the external influence, tries to calm and regulate this energy.

Chop Wood is the same external influence that Jin has in his future state, which focused more on regulation and routine being something he would find hard to get out of. For Hoseok, it’s like he’s running away from that shit and never looking back. It feels like full-on rebellion, so Hoseok might either need some time to recuperate after finishing his enlistment or he’ll be back to working right away, just with a bit more control and expression this time around, a demand to be heard while he has the chance.

Namjoon

Namjoon’s current state doesn’t seem that different compared to the last time I checked in on him. There’s a lot of that Virgo energy of his here, very stable and very intentional contemplation and communication here. He’s being very, very careful about what he says and does because he knows this is what he’s leaving behind for a while. Between To Be Fair, Generosity, and The Hermit, this feels like a “all-hands-on-deck” effort between the layers of his own consciousness, to tie things up, to close off this era of his life. He’s giving back all of what he has received over the years through words, music, and so on. It’s very focused on the mind, sharing the mind, and just speaking, leaving the world with his words. It’s very deliberate and careful on all levels, very personal.

On the right side, coming out of enlistment, Namjoon has the higher influence of Milk and Honey pointing to ease and relaxation, potentially a break or vacation for him following his release. This is elaborated on with the in-sync soul state of Choice which reflects into the conscious state of the Page of Swords. It’s very easy, very simple. If the current state is all about closing things off and allowing for a blank space to take up two years for enlistment, the potential future consists of energy to push a conscious level choice and decision-making that will, for Namjoon, dictate what kind of seeds grow for his future, both with the group and as an individual.

Jimin

Jimin is always an interesting one to read for. Here, he seems to be sharing some of Hoseok’s energy, and I don’t mean in terms of reflection, I mean he’s literally holding some of Hoseok’s energy. This may be regulation on a soul level because of how frustrated Hoseok’s soul may be, but this could also be a matter of emotional absorption from just having a deep conversation about fears and worries. Never-Ending Story specifically, as the higher influence and as a reflection to Jimin’s position in the Soul Body and his previous job or purpose on a soul level in the group, feels like direct guidance or a pull toward assistance in regulating the souls of others, which would reflect into Order, or Jimin’s soul state, with the conscious and physical focus being on The World, or the outside, the surrounding people, his personal pillars. It feels much more focused in on Hoseok, but this could lend to the others as well. Hoseok and Jimin always have some kind of soul shit going on, so this isn’t too surprising.

As for the potential future, post-enlistment Jimin’s higher influence is represented by Chop Wood, just like Jin and Hoseok, with his soul state being Speculation, and his conscious and physical state being represented by The Hermit. The Hermit is pretty awesome here compared to The World as it shows a deliberate effort to detach from others in order to focus on himself. In relation to Virgo, The Hermit here feels like the upgrade from external obligation and feeling the need to take care of everyone else, to focusing fully on and prioritizing your own physical and mental health. The soul state being Speculation, which actually puts a lot more focus on communication with family and close friends, and building up personal connections, is another level of a push for a more personal, self-focused state. Chop Wood here, compared to Jin and Hoseok, feels more literal in terms of getting the physical home up and running, getting a new routine, and just settling into something homier before he fully engages in work again.

Taehyung

Taehyung is a bit all over the place with his Higher Self pushing Peace there at the front in order to calm and redirect his focus on the here and now. Quite literally, the 9 of Pentacles and the Page of Wands is splitting his conscious-level focus between past accumulation and success (9 of Pentacles) and the potential of the future, what he’ll do next, is there even anything to do? (Page of Wands). He’s everywhere in his head other than fully in the present moment. It doesn’t feel anxious or overwhelmed, but it does settle well with the state of the soul which showcases Criticism, which is associated with Mars in Virgo. This is showing that he’s not in a full alignment, but he hardly ever is so that’s fine. There’s a lot of motion here, a lot of movement, but I think that’s coming from the fact that his thoughts are anchored to all of these “away” thoughts and not much is focused on the present. He’s very caught up in the transitionary state of it all it would seem.

The potential of his future looks a lot more promising, with much more alignment, and much more focus. With Yang, The Sun, and Fulfillment, there seems to be a suggestion here that once his future is no longer perceived as being under someone else’s control or dictation, he’ll not see everything as past and future, and will instead be able to focus more on the here and now. Essentially, he’s currently locked in a state of transition because his next step isn’t really his own, it’s a matter of obligation where his own plans and potential don’t matter. Both Yang and The Sun reflect the projection of personal will, expression, performance, and identity, while the soul state of Fulfillment suggests a need for success and satisfaction, which pulls everything together to become much more active and physically involved in a lot of work, potentially branching out much more. There could be a big “leveling-up” of Taehyung over the course of the next two years.

Jungkook

Lastly, we have Kook here with his current state being represented by the combination of No Place Like Home and Yin as his higher guidance, Flirtation as his soul state, and the 9 of Pentacles as his conscious and physical projection. This is all very nice, very Venus-heavy, very lovely, and romantic. He’s a very lovey type of person, very sensitive, very emotional, and everything here feels so nostalgic as there is a focus on all of what has been built up to this point, but he is not looking at it as individual monetary success. He instead is looking at his whole life up to this point as a home, as his foundations, as his roots. He’s looking at the other guys as his family, as his brothers, his guardians, and so on. There’s just a lot of love and appreciation here and I’m surprised there’s not any kind of sadness or grief here as that tends to be something that comes up for him when he’s focused on his past or getting older. This feels like this could be a state of release, similar to Namjoon’s current state where the focus is closing things off. Where Namjoon would be closing things off externally, Kook would be closing things off internally, making peace with what has come and gone.

As for his potential future, things look a little nuts and out of wack, not gonna lie. The higher influence is split between Exchanging Gifts and Chaos and Conflict, both of which share no signature, meaning these two cards aren’t projecting together in this reading at all, it’s fully a split external influence. One side feels like pushing things together while the other is ripping things apart. The soul state is then represented by Submission with his conscious and physical state being represented by the 7 of Swords. The 7 of Swords is associated with cheating, lying, stealing, and strategy. This card can also refer to someone biting off more than they can chew or getting themselves into upset situations after doing something without much thought.

The future set almost gives me this feeling of someone needing to get their “sea legs.” Like, everything is fine, there’s just some kind of imbalance or some misunderstanding that needs to be adjusted and reworked in order for everything to come together and function normally. If we look at Exchanging Gifts and the 7 of Swords, it’s like the guy in the card unintentionally stole the swords thinking they could be traded or mistaking them for a gift, and therefore creating a major issue due to a misunderstanding. That’s the kind of vibe I’m getting from this, but the soul state of Submission makes it feel like it's so outside of his control that he just has to sit back, watch, get trampled on, and learn the hard way. It’s making me think a lot about how back in the day I talked about Namjoon and Kook trading places, with Namjoon becoming more internal again while Kook becomes more external. If there is some kind of misunderstanding or issue that comes up after he is released from enlistment, it would essentially be equivalent to the kind of controversies or “hard lessons learned” by Namjoon in his earlier days.

That’s all I have for this one, thanks for reading!
