Energy Signature of Yeosang

Original Post: May 21, 2022

This was an interesting one to work through as soon as I connected to his energy with the intent to understand this “living statue” thing, I heard “for politeness’ sake.” As in, he controls his expressions and actions for the sake of being polite. It went a lot deeper than that, but that was repeated over and over again before I started pulling cards. I also took a look at his birth chart and found an interesting connection between his Mars (in Libra) and Venus (in Leo). Both of them playing off each other can lend to a person being very aware of how they look and act around people, or how other people are perceiving them. This alongside a Cancer Moon and Mercury (conjunct) can create a very interesting dynamic wherein he could try to “tailor himself” for the sake of everyone around him.

However, I do want to make this clear: he is absolutely NOT lying to anyone or being fake. He really just seems to be extremely mindful of how he comes off to people, how he WANTS to come off to people, and how people perceive him regardless.

With the cards, the top three came out together in the exact order that you see them, with the two 10s being split by the 5 of Wands. This was the most interesting part as essentially Yeosang sees himself as the 10 of Swords and recognizes a misalignment or an opposition between himself and the 10 of Pentacles, a representative of what he wants to create (in terms of mood or atmosphere) or what he wants to be perceived as (higher up, upper echelon).

With the 10 of Swords, he doesn’t see himself as the man in the image being stabbed by the swords, but rather he sees himself as the swords, as someone who has the potential of saying the wrong thing or unintentionally hurting someone, and with that killing the mood, killing the overall vibe of an environment or relationship. He seems to think in very fine detail and big picture aspects with this, which is pretty cool.

So, basically, he’s being very considerate of both himself and other people, as well as the environment that he is in. He holds himself together and understands that there is a right place and right time for certain kinds of behavior and words. There were some notes coming in about being seen as too loud, too childish, or too “wacky” which, again, goes into how he wants to be perceived as well as how he tries to take care of the mood or atmosphere of whatever environment he’s in. He more or less wants to just match the tone of whatever situation he’s in.

The bottom two cards made it seem like this particular way of being came from past experience in which he may have lost some friends or had been excluded from things as a child because of his more boisterous or talkative personality. He sees this aspect of himself as The Devil, matching up with seeing himself as the swords that have the potential to really hurt people. Really, I think he’s just a Gemini with a sharp tongue who happens to have a Cancer Moon and Mercury making him extra sensitive to other people’s reactions to him. His Mars and Venus just add that extra bit of sparkle that he needed to become a little more mindful than necessary of how other people are perceiving him versus how he wants to be perceived.
