Outlook for Monsta X

Original Post: May 21, 2022

The biggest thing to come through here is that more than one person might decide to leave the group, but it’s a big MAYBE based on how The Hanged Man views The Hierophant once he escapes “Death.” That all sounds kinda nuts, I know, but I’ll break it down.

Death was the first card out in regard to the state of Monsta X as a group in terms of the overall career. It was unclear to me if Death in this context was literal Death, as in the group would be disbanding, or if it was referring to significant changes being made in the group - a death leading to rebirth rather. The next card out was the 5 of Pentacles and it would seem my own question is one being reflected in the group by two or more of the members - is this going to end or is it going to change?

The individuals in the 5 of Pentacles seem to be fleeing Death specifically because it’s unclear what Death is actually going to bring, therefore they don’t really know what they want to do. This will just keep cycling, them running, Death seemingly chasing, unless they gain some clarity, and this is where it gets a bit more complicated.

Death = The Hierophant and 5 of Pentacles = The Hanged Man.

The Hanged Man represents a point in which those that are running finally get a good look at Death and see that Death is actually The Hierophant, the one in charge, the one making all of the rules and regulations, which I assume coincides with the company or their management. It seems like they are unsure of where certain problems are coming from, where a lot of tension is coming from, and once they figure out that it’s either coming from the company, or the company is not willing to do anything to ease that tension, some of them may make the decision to leave the group/company.

Again, this is a big maybe because The Hanged Man marks the point of a choice and not one that is inherently guided, set in stone, or “fated.” However, if any of them do decide to leave, they will be guided from that point on as shown by The Star the guides the vision and focus of the 2 of Wands as he decides his next steps forward.

Overall, there seems to be a lot of questions for these few individuals who are just not clear on what is going to happen or what the company wants or is willing to do for them. This lack of clarity is opening up a few different potential paths that will only be activated when one, two, or more of them make their decisions from the position of The Hanged Man.
