Birth — Aries — 999 — Evolve

This here is probably one of the clearest and to-the-point sets out of the bunch, focusing very much on rebirth and coming into a completely new form or state of being. Unlike what was put out in the main reading, referring to innovation over evolution, those of you that have chosen this set are really going against the grind and going for a complete and total makeover, quite literally centering you under the word EVOLVE.

On the bottom, as the foundation here, you have Birth, associated with Venus in Cancer. This puts forth images of creation, creativity, artistry, and very independent and strong-willed processes of bringing something to fruition. Above Birth, you have the enthusiastic, fiery, and determined baby of the Zodiac, Aries, there to really initiate a new beginning and start something new. Again, there is this very fierce level of independence coming through with these first two cards.

Aries itself isn’t just a spark of inspiration or a sudden burst of energy here, this feels more like a lightning bolt that causes a state-wide forest fire, and because of that, I feel like some of that feminine, mothering, nurturing energy from Venus in Cancer may be required to help balance or contain this energy to a certain degree. This is definitely not the kind of energy you want to shove down or second-guess, but rather ensure that it is being directed as clearly and as cleanly as possible. This can refer back to the matter of The Bardo where the eye focuses sharply through the skull as the future vision.

The description of the Aries card even says, “This process should be exciting and positive, so make sure you don’t squander this energy on something you aren’t 100% behind. New opportunities and a burst of energy are heading your way and they are coming fast. Enjoy these last moments of quiet because life is about to be anything but.”

Above Aries, you have the 999 card. 999, or the number 9 alone, signifies completion, the end of a previous phase, cycle, or state of being, and implies the beginning of a new one. Of course, with Birth, Aries, and EVOLVE present, I don’t think 999 is here to suggest or imply, rather it is here to confirm, flat out, without any doubt, that something, or maybe even everything, in your life is about to change, and you will be the one to spearhead that change through Birth and Aries.

Much like the opportunity presented by Death and The Bardo in the main reading, there is still choice involved in this matter. You’re really going to have to take hold of this energy and put it to use with all the will in the world behind you. This is definitely not something you’re gonna want to waste.
