Storytime! Like a lot of people, I really got into Dream’s YouTube videos and the Dream SMP throughout 2020. I’ve been playing Minecraft since 2012 (thanks to Achievement Hunter, lol) so to see all this revamped and refreshed content around the game spring up over the last few years and land with a whole new wave of people really excited me. Dream, regardless of your view of him, did seem to spearhead that wave in a lot of ways, and of course, any trendsetter, initiator, or figurehead of any kind of rising cultural bubble, especially online and in media, very much so piques my interest. I think the thing that interests me the most is the Dream SMP, its organic evolution, the relationships formed and solidified through it, and the success everyone involved has experienced with it. Yes, it was very much a group effort, but Dream is always at the head of these things, is always the beacon overhead drawing attention, as well as the foundation below that allows for new stories, media, and even whole careers to either be built or expanded on.

This is not only limited to the content creators/streamers involved with or closely connected to Dream himself, but also people in the fandom (first thought was SAD-ist), and people outside of the fandom and in whole other realms of media or platforms who gain new levels of recognition via Dream. Dream has a very special ability to funnel in inspiration for other people and then provide a spotlight for what those people then create with that inspiration — again, a beacon and the foundation. Some of this is done very intentionally and some of it isn’t, which is why I find him so genuinely fascinating as a person, as a creator, as a businessman, and as an entertainer.

So, what is one such as me to do when they come across someone in media with such a unique style of influence? Look at their birth chart, obviously. I was quite surprised as he has a very interesting birth chart, but what got to me the most was his cosmic imprinting, and this is what I’m most excited to talk about. Before I can do that though, I’m going to have to blab on a bit about what cosmic imprinting is because it’s some weird stuff and it needs an explanation.

First off, what is cosmic imprinting? Well, cosmic imprinting, from what I know and have observed so far, is the same as conscious imprinting, which is what you can visibly see in someone’s birth chart, with their planetary placements, house placements, and most importantly, the aspects between the influential points in their chart. The first major difference between conscious and cosmic imprinting is that cosmic imprinting is unconscious imprinting, it’s more in the soul, imprinted or “coded” for a specific lifetime, is less likely to change before death and can carry over between lifetimes, while the visible conscious imprinting shows up more psychologically and physically in a person and is more fluid, able to change or be altered in a single lifetime.

The second major difference is that some of the cosmic imprinting a person has is completely invisible, as in, you can’t actually see it in the birth chart. Some cosmic imprinting overlaps with conscious imprinting, showing that both the lower and higher mind utilizes the same configurations between planetary influences, just on different levels. Usually, these points can be seen as conduits for Higher Self integration, meaning when those ports are activated on a conscious level, the higher mind can kind of swoop down and have equal influence on a physical and conscious level. Kind of complicated, I know, but when you break it down a bit, it’s easier to digest.

Dream’s chart was interesting to me because right away I was able to see quite a lot of underlying imprinting, things that had already been activated and cleared out, meaning they already served their purpose and were essentially turned off and no longer in use. He had quite a lot of those. This was interesting because… well, he’s very young. People as young as he is usually don’t clear that much of their imprinting, conscious or cosmic, unless they are very “awake,” very in tune with those higher aspects of themselves and very consciously clear them on their own, which, for reasons I will get into, I don’t think he did. My only theory is that he’s had some time working through certain imprinting in past lives, so it’s a second nature thing and it just sort of happens, it just gets cleared early on no matter what.

There’s actually something in his chart that could lend some credibility to that as well, which is this:

Charts provided by MyAstro.com

This is Dream’s chart — ignore the Ascendant and the house placements as I just threw a random time in to see his planets. That big black line going from early Capricorn to early Cancer is the first thing I saw in his imprinting. Basically, this is a very worked and worn configuration that definitely has been used multiple times through multiple lifetimes, and because it has been used so often, the time that it takes to be cleared is less and less every lifetime. For example, let’s say two lifetimes ago this configuration was cleared by the time he was 40, one lifetime ago it was cleared when he was 30, in this lifetime this configuration was cleared by the time he was 15. From what I can tell, this is the first aspect of his imprinting to be activated in any lifetime and its clearing is what activates points in his conscious birth chart and in his cosmic imprinting.

I wasn’t really seeing anything about this in his chart or imprinting, but I did think it was interesting that this line runs straight through the oppositions within his Fixed Grand Cross. It’s hard to tell as he has an unfortunate amount of squares in his chart, but the Grand Cross here is between his Sun in Leo, Saturn in Taurus, Uranus in Aquarius, and Mars in Scorpio. The oppositions are held between his Sun and Uranus, and Saturn and Mars. The strongest opposition is between his Sun and Uranus as they are both centered in the signs of their rulership. I can see this being even more amplified by the fact that Uranus is retrograde in his chart, creating that duality with the Sun between the internal and external focus.

This here is pure imprinting and how it overlaps with his conscious level imprinting in his chart. All of the pink lines represent aspects that are continuously being stimulated in this very intense back-and-forth wave pattern that runs through every point in this configuration. Those top three points, circled in green, are essentially the rulers of the conscious chart as dictated by his imprinting at the current moment. More specifically, it is his Sun, Moon, and Mercury that dictate his conscious functioning within his birth chart, or at least it’s what he most consciously engages with, everything else would be more subconscious or lacking self-awareness.

The configuration is very interesting because usually when I see active imprinting it just sort of… glows? Like it’s a continuous hum of energy over a certain point, line, configuration, or general area of a chart. It’s very stagnant and it kind of ripples out into visible points of projection that link into the conscious chart. Here, Dream has something trippy where all the lines are stimulated, they are “glowing,” but there’s this little charge, like a ball of static electricity, that is bouncing from point to point. It keeps the entire set activated and stimulated, but there is no single point that is actively projecting into the conscious chart, there is no energetic overlay. Which is weird with something that is highly stimulated.

Basically, what this is showing is an activation in waiting, it’s something that could integrate down the line, and probably is supposed to integrate at some point, but is mostly stimulated in the soul and will unconsciously be projected by Dream. I do think the unconscious side of the beacon and foundation thing is rooted here. The conscious effort on his part to be that inspiration and spotlight are in his birth chart, it’s in those aspects, but the unconscious aspect of being the beacon and foundation is in the soul. They are the same, just different levels.

Just to clarify:

  • Inspiration + Spotlight = conscious mind, conscious imprinting

  • Foundation + Beacon = unconscious mind, cosmic imprinting

Based on this configuration, his Scorpio Mars is a major key in the activation and integration process. In other words, his Scorpio Mars is the first major conduit that would allow for cosmic imprinting to influence the lower conscious mind. As I was seeing it, the stimulation in the cosmic imprinting went like this:

  • Mars to Sun

  • Sun to Saturn

  • Saturn to Mercury

  • Mercury to Pluto

  • Pluto to Moon

  • Moon to Chiron

  • Chiron to North Node

  • North Node to Jupiter

  • Jupiter to Venus

  • Venus to Mars

If this were to integrate into the conscious chart and activate through Mars, it would go a little more like this:

  • Mars activates Sun

  • Sun activates Saturn

  • Saturn activates Mercury

Mercury stimulates Pluto — stimulates Pluto, does not activate immediately.

  • Pluto activates Moon

Moon activates Chiron/Pluto — the activation of Chiron activates Pluto completely, this will work as a duel set within the three-point configuration with the Moon. Essentially, in this state, the Moon would be a subconscious conduit for the higher aspects of Chiron and Pluto.

  • Chiron activates North Node

North Node activates Jupiter — could trigger what I call “conscious shedding” or a very, very low-key version of a “dark night of the soul” as prior foundations and ingrained perceptions and understanding could be interrupted or completely deconstructed for the sake of rebirth, which would be initiated through Mars in relation to Aries/1st House.

Jupiter activates Venus — this would be a point of reinvention, creation, a more consciously initiated rebirth.

Venus to Mars — if this process is completed in a single lifetime, the first conscious level return to Mars would clear aspects of the 8th House and would solidify the transition to the 9th House, which would have been initiated by Venus for him. The 9th House governs internalized rebirths and the rebirth of perception itself.

For any of you interested in numerology, this configuration has 9 active pulses in it, with the 10th pulse being the return to Mars.

Now, that’s all pretty interesting, right? He’s got a lot going on there, wouldn’t you say? Ah, but wait, what’s this??

Dream Active Pieces.jpg

The purple lines here show the aspects that are currently active in his birth chart on a conscious level right now… Compared to his cosmic imprinting, this is more bland than a saltine cracker, but that’s okay because this shows a very concentrated stimulation to these areas of his chart right now. If it’s hard to see, these are the three main configurations:

  • Sun opposed Uranus

  • Venus trine Jupiter

  • Mercury, Jupiter, Uranus squares

The most significant aspect is between the Sun and Uranus.

As a side note, I was seeing this really weird interaction between his Moon and Mercury, where they are essentially blocking off the Sun from Uranus (and Neptune). With that, I was seeing that a lot of his internal functioning is governed by his Moon, which people might say that’s the norm, but ehh, kind of not. The Moon, like the Sun, governs the projection of the internal space, it’s not usually supposed to rule over it necessarily. Basically, that whole ego thing people attribute to Dream’s Leo Sun isn’t actually coming from his Leo Sun, it’s coming from his Virgo Moon. His Virgo Moon is the one that gets upset easily, feels the need to overexplain and correct people, pass judgment very quickly, act out of “logic” and ignore the emotional influence in the moment. That is the underdeveloped egoic Virgo. The underdeveloped egoic Leo would be more likely to ignore hate, ignore criticism, and even play into the hate, become the bad guy in a way in order to “give the people what they want.” Dream doesn’t do that. Dream is a Virgo more than he is a Leo when it comes to how he actually projects.

BUT!! For the love of everything good in the world, allow me to make the distinction that there is a major difference between Virgo Suns and Virgo Moons. Well-developed Virgo Suns are so well-spoken that it’s almost impossible to disagree with them because everything they say is so well thought out and delivered you can’t find fault in it, even if it’s something you didn’t agree with before. Virgo Suns are more regimented and level-headed, still judgemental and critical, but with purpose. Virgo Moons think more irrationally, more emotionally, but assume the position of the most logical, which can bite them in the ass later on as they can lose faith in what they say or realize faults in their thinking AFTER they’ve already started a whole argument over something they THOUGHT was wrong or offensive. In other words, Virgo Moons can be very trigger-happy.

Dream’s Leo Sun is actually very well developed, he doesn’t have an ego, he’s just confident and sometimes perhaps a bit self-righteous, but that, again, comes from his Moon, not his Sun. He only drops into that “ego” when he’s emotionally triggered by something, or can perceive something as being wrong, and because he is a Leo, if he perceives people to be saying something wrong or offensive about him, he’s just gonna have to pop off and educate some people about it… and then apologize for it a few days later because then he’ll calm down and realize that he wasn’t as right or they weren’t as wrong as he thought they were… cuz Virgo Moon.

By the way, it’s the well-developed state of his Leo Sun that allows him to actually point out his wrongdoings and apologize. If he really had an ego, especially related to his Sun, the way everyone says he does, he wouldn’t do that. He would never, not even for show, say he was wrong or apologize, especially if he thought he was defending himself to begin with.

I also want to point out something that I made a note of regarding how his Sun, Moon, and Mercury connect and influence each other, and how they have for years and years. There’s this dual aspect going on between hyper-awareness and hyper-ignorance. It was actually making me think of The Little Rascals where they are obviously very young children engaging in play, but there’s this functionality to everything that makes it feel more like adult life that they’re dealing with. Basically, at a younger age, that Mercury and Moon would have smashed together to create a very stringent logical thought process that would have been amplified and solidified by the confidence and self-assuredness of his Leo Sun. It struck me as a teenager being very adamant about being mature, being an adult, planning to move out as soon as they turn 18 because they’re already an adult and that’s what adults do. With that, there’s this thing I kept getting about the world “childish,” calling things childish, looking down on things that could go against the chosen logic or what is perceived as objective reality because it is childish, beneath him, beneath his intellect.

The first thing that came to mind with this was the way this dude talks about ghosts. Have you heard him talk about ghosts? Good lord. The last two times someone has brought up ghosts on stream with him he just flies off the rails, hootin’ and hollerin’ about how it’s all bullshit and how if ghosts are real he wants them to kill him, and I’m just like… sweetie, what the hell do you think ghosts are? But that’s what I mean about this duality between hyper-awareness, or overly logical thought processes based on observable reality creating a fog of ignorance around certain ideas or topics. This can go into anything ranging from aspects of spirituality and the paranormal, all the way to the sociology and psychology of internet culture, or even just someone’s emotional response to a trigger.

Basically, there’s room there between the Moon and Mercury to have a superiority complex around his intellect, and depending on how emotionally triggered he is, or how ignorant he himself actually feels toward something, that egoic Virgo could pop off and really start throwing that “logic” around, belittling the other perspectives or beliefs because he’s already decided he is the smartest one in the situation and anything that makes him feel upset or ignorant, aka illogical, can produce these odd tangents.

That comes off kind of negative, but it’s actually something supported in his imprinting, that blockade produced by the Moon and Mercury to keep the Sun, or the conscious level awareness away from Neptune and Uranus. I was actually seeing that this stringent logic, this perceived intellectual superiority is actually what soothes the Virgo Moon and gives more reign to the Leo Sun, which at the forefront of everything, is what gave and continues to give him that confidence and clear vision that has led to such rapid and stable success, not only with his current career but anything he may have done before in terms of work or education.

So, this is a very hot and cold type of influence where it’s so positive and strong and supportive all the way through in the realm of business and creativity. He can offer so much, he’s probably great at brainstorming ideas, working with him creatively would probably be very fulfilling and inspiring for anyone, but… god forbid you ever bring up ghosts around this guy, lol.

Dream inactive or cleared imprinting.jpg

This image here shows what I was seeing in terms of Dream’s cleared and inactive imprinting. The square between Saturn and Uranus is there, along with the square between Jupiter and Neptune. Then there is this weird non-aspected connection between Saturn and something that seemed to lie between Capricorn and Sagittarius. I think this would have more to do with house placement, so I can’t really give too much of an explanation for that. The area where those lines intersect is the most understimulated, or the most inactive area. There’s basically no energetic stimulation to the areas between Aries, Pisces, and Aquarius for Dream right now in his imprinting.

He has these two big oppositions there as well, one of which has been cleared and the other is just inactive. The line between Capricorn and Cancer, which is not the same one shown in the first image, is cleared. Then the one between Pisces and Virgo is inactive, meaning it was active at one point and probably will be again down the line.

dream future potential activations.jpg

Finally, this image shows all of what I could see for potential future activations, which could occur in this lifetime or in future lifetimes. The bit that stood out the most to me was that Air Trine there which anchors in the opposition between Gemini and Sagittarius. I theorize that this has something to do with the current North and South Nodes which are in Gemini and Sagittarius.

Following that, there is this really satisfying configuration between Dream’s North Node, Pluto, Mercury, and Neptune. In this configuration, the activation of Pluto triggers Chiron, and the activation of Neptune triggers Uranus. Most of the stimulation is held there between Libra, Scorpio, and Sagittarius.

Okay, now we got all that out of the way, we can get on to the energy reading.

Pre-Reading:

For anyone that might be new to my readings, I tend to focus a lot on core energy and the internal space while doing readings. I’m a very visually-oriented individual, both on a conscious level and on an unconscious, intuitive level. When I do readings for people, when I connect to their cores, I get a lot of visuals for what I call their “inner world.” In terms of the layers of consciousness, it’s the point between the soul and the higher unconscious mind, kind of where the soul plugs into the human experience. In that space, a “world” is created energetically, there’s not really a place there, but I see it as such, with visual representations of what is going on between the conscious mind, the soul, and in the core as a whole. These worlds shift and change as the core, soul, and layers of consciousness do, and often reflect phases of progression.

If you are at all curious about other “inner worlds,” and haven’t read any of the BTS readings I’ve done, there are a few of their Elemental Alignment readings that I’ve done where I went into a lot of detail about what they looked like, in some later readings discussed how they changed based on states of integration and soul progression. Specifically, I think Jungkook’s readings overall had the most details about that kind of stuff.

For Dream, it was really interesting because it reminded me a lot of Namjoon’s inner world in the sense that there wasn’t really a world, it was sort of just this abstract display of energy. Namjoon’s at the very least had some sense of form to it, it was just that everything was so bright you could hardly make out any details. Dream’s inner world or the visual representation of his core energy straight up reminded me of that Rainbow Road level in Mario Kart. It was this semi-transparent pathway of purple, blue, green, magenta, and silver gradients moving through it. It was kind of just suspended in a void, wrapping around this way and that way, looping in some areas. It didn’t seem to extend out very far, but I was still unable to see a beginning or an end to it.

I was getting a lot of physical sensation here with this as well (insert left ear jokes if you must). Mostly there was this really, really intense tingling or popping sensation on the top left side of my head, and then it was followed up by a lot of pressure, almost painful pressure in the left side of my face and jaw. Don’t really know what that means, but the tingling and popping is just stimulation, it’s a higher vibration in the core, but it holds no form, there is no conscious level engagement with this energy, therefore, a “world” could not form completely.

I pulled some cards to get some more insight on what’s going on in his core and this was actually really, really cool to see. Basically, this layout here mirrors exactly what I was seeing before with the Foundation/Beacon and Inspiration/Spotlight thing. Basically, sandwiched in the middle there, he has the 4 of Cups, which is essentially him, just him, just Dream chillin’ out, existing or whatever. Then above him, he has Temperance, representative of his Higher Self, pouring the water back and forth in the two cups they hold, which I immediately connected back to the current active cosmic imprinting, the ones represented with the pink lines. Below Dream are The Chariot, The World, and The Lovers. These three cards represent foundation/inspiration (The Chariot), spotlight/beacon (The World), and inspiration and soul connection on different levels (The Lovers.)

What I found most interesting about this was the 4 of Cups itself, specifically the image of it.

This is LITERALLY Dream. Sat there, grounded into reality, oblivious to what is actually around him in terms of these cups, these more spiritual and soul-guided aspects. The three cups at the bottom of the card line up with The Chariot, The World, and The Lovers. In my mind, I was seeing it as Dream, physically or consciously offering up the cups, empty cups, to anyone and everyone. The consciously given empty cups would line up more with inspiration, spotlight, and collaboration.

The fourth cup, the cup floating in front of Dream, which is meant to mimic the image of the Ace of Cups, a cup offered by “the hand of God,” is basically a full cup being offered from Temperance, his Higher Self. In the Temperance card, the angel holds two cups, pouring water from one to the other, unclear of whether the water is flowing upward or downward. With the offering of just one of these cups, a full cup, to Dream, it’s like the offering of a conduit. An unconscious, hidden, soul-dictated act of filling those cups with water, creating a second, higher layer of foundation, beacon, and divine inspiration or soulmate connection.

Dream is only consciously aware of the empty cups, unaware of what he actually offers on a higher level, which is the water that fills them. It’s very interesting.

Finally, we’re here at the main reading. Just some notes on the first impression of his layout here, he has a pretty good balance as all elements are represented, however, there is some wobbly vibes with his core there as represented by the reversed Camel. He has a Spirit card, The Dragon, in his Water Alignment, which automatically puts that aspect into alignment with the Higher Self, which makes sense considering what we just went over with the energy reading.

Current Core State: Camel — Fire (rev.)

I thought this was kind of funny, because the Camel here really reflects the state of the man in the 4 of Cups, the oblivious nature, as well as the lack of awareness when it comes to the Water that fills the cups, or in this case, the water that fills the Camel’s body. Quite literally, the Camel in reverse is in regard to a lack of knowledge, awareness, or conscious receptivity to the highly stimulated Water Alignment, represented by the Dragon.

When upright, the Camel is one of the only cards that is able to balance the elements of Water and Fire, using Water (creativity, inspiration, emotional sensitivity, and intuition) to fuel Fire (action, passion, willpower, creation). The Camel keeps reserves of Water inside of its body, making it able to travel for a long distance in the hot sun, or in other words, making it easier for a person to stay dedicated and passionate about achieving a goal in spite of harsh circumstances or obstacles, thanks to intuitive outlook and creative stimulation. In reverse, the Camel is described in a way that suggests that it has run out of water and is unable or unwilling to find anymore. Luckily, that’s not what it means here for Dream.

This Camel card, in spite of being reversed, does not represent a misalignment, it represents an imbalance, however, this imbalance is not in function but in perception. Basically, the Fire energy is still very much a strong player in Dream’s core, it’s very, very stimulated, it’s very conscious, probably rooted into that conscious level Leo Sun. What is missing is the awareness of the Water. It’s like the Camel can go and go and go, but it has no idea why it can go, it just can, and it starts to perceive itself as invincible, nothing can stop it, it’s just a natural trailblazer.

This is all well and good, nothing really negative here at the minute. The only real issue that this can bring about is burnout with a difficulty in being able to pick things back up and continue on as, essentially, it would be the Camel running out of Water and not knowing where to get more Water. It’s not that there wouldn’t be any Water around, there’s plenty of Water around, but the Camel lived off of Water from the inside out, not the outside in. Without the awareness of where that source Water comes from (Temperance/Dragon), it could be difficult to replenish it down the line when it runs out. In other words, what keeps Dream going, what inspires him and keeps him motivated the most is not validation from people around him, it’s not money, or numbers, or whatever else, the real fuel is that higher aspect, the Higher Self, the soul. Validation, success, money, recognition, and so on are what are produced by this burning fuel, it is not what burns the fuel itself if that makes sense.

There’s a potential that, in the event of major burnout, he could look outside of himself for that fuel and never really find it, or find something that doesn’t really produce the same results, which can be quite an upsetting and frustrating thing for people that work creatively.

Sea Serpent.jpg

Higher Self Core Alignment: Sea Serpent — Spirit

Associated Chakra: Sacral Chakra

The Higher Self Core Alignment shows what the Higher Self is trying to push down into the core in order to either assist in the progression of the current phase of soul development or to initiate a new phase entirely. Here, Dream has the Sea Serpent, a Spirit card associated with the Sacral Chakra. The Sea Serpent itself has a lot to do with personal healing and awakening, it can kind of blend into the space of the 8th House as the healing tends to lead to more balanced creation through higher levels of self-awareness.

For Dream, this does feel more like balancing out this influence, this chakra center specifically. A lot of emotional, mental, and creative energy could be flung into one area of his life, leaving others to wither and/or become unstable or depleted. I’m really getting this feeling of needing to settle the ocean, which is a weird way to put it, but it’s like Dream’s personal oceans are shifting to one side or are sloshing about in a bunch of different directions and it’s causing floods and droughts. I mean, it really feels like the Camel in terms of this “go, go, go!” kind of energy where everything is just moving all around, which is fine, that’s literally what he’s built for, but it almost feels like he needs to be better about scheduling things. Like, have a set routine so he’s not being yanked around at the last second.

Obviously, that’s easier said than done considering his job and how many different things he has going on, but there’s still room, I’m sure, in his personal life or just with personal health where he could create a more solid routine for himself that the more chaotic aspects of his work life could flow around, thus giving him a bit more of a stable foundation. The ocean wouldn’t be completely still with a flat glass surface, there would still be some ebb and flow in that sense, which is much more natural anyway.

Dragon.jpg

Water Alignment: Dragon — Spirit

Chakra Association: Solar Plexus

The Water Alignment governs the inner world, the inner foundations. It influences the emotional center, creativity, and intuition. The Water Alignment is essentially where everything else takes root, everything begins in the realm of Water, so for Dream to have a Spirit card here, one of seven in the deck, associated with the Solar Plexus, and aligned with the influence of the Higher Self is pretty top-notch. Of course, as we saw with the energy reading, he isn’t too consciously receptive to this area of his own core, but it’s definitely strong enough that it doesn’t need his engagement to stay stimulated.

The Dragon really is an epic influence as it essentially holds the ego in check, it defines and upholds the identity both on a conscious level and on a higher unconscious level. It is described as an influence that would allow you to see the “self” beyond the “self,” or essentially the Higher Self, the higher inner guidance, the inner divine inspiration. It caught my eye that the Dragon, in relation to the Solar Plexus, is associated with divine vision and the balance of perception, being able to center oneself enough to observe both the outer world around you and the inner world. In that sense, the Dragon feels a lot like an untapped source that may be lingering in the stomach of the man in the 4 of Cups.

The Dragon here in the Water Alignment, with how I’m seeing it, really takes intuition and turns it into instinct, turns it into something more logical or intellectual, its projection is more grounded. Being able to breathe fire isn’t so mystical and magical to a dragon, it’s just… what it does, it’s natural, doesn’t need to be questioned. It’s like Dream is aware of this Fire, he can see it when it comes out, he can see his creation, his success, but he has no idea where it really comes from, just as the Dragon has no idea where the source of the Fire is in its stomach, or just as the Camel has no idea where the Water comes from. Neither of them needs to question it or need to wonder about such a thing because, for all intents and purposes, it is just a natural function. It’s literally like breathing. You don’t need to think about it.

Dolphin.jpg

Fire Alignment: Dolphin — Water

I was quite happy to see this as the Dolphin popping up here in the Fire Alignment fits more with how I personally see Dream and his overall influence. The Fire Alignment, following the Water Alignment, is the point in which the inspiration is funneled into creation. It governs over action and passion, and tends to hold the most stimulation of personal will and desire. The Fire Alignment tends to be a bridge between the inner and outer worlds.

The Dolphin is a very high vibrational influence. It has associations to healing, blessings, light (as in high vibrational energy), and heightened awareness, typically in the realms of emotional receptivity and expanded intellect. Just because it holds Dream’s image so well, I want to share the description of this card from the book:

“The gifts of the Dolphin are beyond what our human minds can grasp. Dolphin personalities are often drawn to the healing arts, as they are sensitive to the subtle and enjoy working on the level of spirit. It’s easy for Dolphin types to underestimate the impact they make in the world. These creatures play such an important role in the wheel of karma that coming in contact with a Dolphin type will change the entire course of your day… and thus your life. This card can also indicate a profound blessing is on the way.” — Kim Krans, The Wild Unknown: Animal Spirit

Seriously, that just screams Dream to me. Acting as a healer is so on point with the work he does in terms of wanting to make people laugh, wanting to make people happy with everything he does. His effort is put there very consciously in a lot of ways, but then that projection still occurs very unconsciously in terms of his humor, or his laugh, or his singing voice where those specific things aren’t consciously “turned on” for other people, they just… are part of him, but they bring about joy and comfort for a lot of people regardless.

Moth.jpg

Earth Alignment: Moth — Air

The Earth Alignment is the foundation of the outer world, specifically rooted in the perception of the self being the center of everything. If the Fire Alignment is the bridge or doorway between the inner and outer world, the Earth Alignment is the point at which your feet first make contact with the outside world. This alignment can show the level of groundedness and connection to the physical world, stability, and self-perception.

Going back to what I was saying with the Sea Serpent about the oceans, or energy, being chaotic in how he lends time and attention to things, the Moth is a good representation of that, just on a much more conscious and superficial level. The Moth is the very first card in the Air suit, it’s the least developed, and because of that it is very scattered and excitable, often finding it difficult to focus long enough on one thing at a time. This could be more in the realm of self-perception, but it can definitely be a display of that stability where, reflecting that more chaotic energy distribution, he could be aware of the fact that there can be just a bit too much going on sometimes.

At the same time, the Moth is an influence that likes there to be a lot going on, it often needs a lot going on to avoid becoming bored and losing interest in something that actually really needs time and attention. It’s an act of keeping the mind and the body, as well as that creative center, stimulated in order to be able to maintain focus and produce solid work continuously.

I think the biggest difference between this state and the state highlighted by the Sea Serpent is control. The Sea Serpent would still have that same level of stimulation, the same amount of stuff going on, but it would be more in control of where, when, how, and for how long its own energy is being lent out. It would be better at prioritizing. The Moth on the other hand is more a victim of circumstance, it’s attracted to the brightest light, it allows its surroundings to control where and when its energy, time, and focus will be spent. Again, more control or a set routine could help with that a bit.

Air Alignment: Mouse — Earth

The Air Alignment showcases conscious level thought process, state of mental clarity, and manner of communication. Here, Dream has the Mouse, which is described as “small-minded” but in the sense of being hyper-focused and zeroed in on the fine details of things. In a weird, oddly shaped way, the Mouse shares space with the Moth. Where the Moth can jump from one thing to another, the Mouse ushers in this very fixated, very focused, even if only for a few hours, mindset that, for me, as I’m feeling this, can create a lot of tension or stress. It’s in the realm of perfectionism, it can go into hyperfixation, it can linger on validation in terms of being focused on the thoughts and feelings of other people regarding what it is that you are doing, and of course, it can produce some level of anxiety or “jitteriness” in relation to all that stimulation coming in from all of these outside details.

It’s sort of a straightforward placement here, it’s not really super good but it’s not super bad either, it’s just sort of a system of thought and function. It just is what it is. Plain and simple. The only thing I can think to point out majorly is in relation to the Moth again, and it’s a matter of unintentionally giving too much attention and energy to things that don’t really need that much or any attention and energy. Because the Mouse is so detailed oriented, it can have a hard time seeing the bigger picture, or seeing the long-term effects of what is being done here and now, and therefore can get lost in something that is relatively useless or just not beneficial to the overall cause.

Overall, Dream seems to be in a pretty good place energetically, he just needs to balance his priorities a bit better and maybe set a personal routine for himself that he can lay all of his work stuff around, but it really won’t be the end of the world if he continues on just as he is. I think it’s pretty clear that he’s got a good grip on his work and career, and will probably continue to expand and gain more success as time goes on as long as he continues to find passion and personal fulfillment in it.

That’s all I have for this one, thank you for reading.
