Details: The Elemental Alignment reading is designed to showcase an individual's energetic alignment and balance with the elements, then compare it to that of the Higher Self's alignments.
Pre-Reading:
Based on energetic imprinting she has a very deep connection and awareness of herself that she projects in her work. I think that’s pretty obvious to anyone that listens to her stuff, but you know… good to know where it comes from, I guess. With the 9 of Cups and leading into the 7 of Cups which is illuminated by The Moon, there is this aspect of self-analysis through an already present higher awareness and receptivity to her own soul. She’s basically one of those people that, before incarnating, chose to go through some heavy shit specifically to learn and grow from it, which gave her that ability to work through it in a way that is beneficial and healing not only to herself but to her audience and the people that she influences.
There is an aspect of an ego-death there as well as the King of Wands is turned on his head in the wake of Death as he transitions into the Knight of Cups. Any confusion, pain, or sadness that is present within The Moon, or the shadows of The Moon in the 7 of Cups, is killed off and the core of it is presented externally, literally projected or presented under the spotlight of The Sun in the hands of the Knight of Cups, which would be her work, her music, her artistry being put on display.
The Reading:
Current State of Core Alignment:
Crow — Air | Cobra — Fire
Both the Crow and the Cobra are very highly spiritual influences. In a way, you could look at the Crow as a higher awareness, literally having a higher perspective, while the Cobra has a lower perspective, something more grounded. The Crow is more externally observant while the Cobra is internally observant. As they combine between Fire and Air energy, there’s a lot of fast movement. Lol, with this I was seeing Stephen King, like someone who writes really fast or writes a lot in a short amount of time. What comes through the Cobra, through the internal observation, she puts into action through the Crow and connects it to external mediums that can express her work.
Between these two energies, there is this vibe of communication both between the Crow and the Cobra, but also in terms of just making connections — connections in her work, her writing, as well as between her and her audience. Working a lot with symbolism is something that comes to mind, being able to connect ideas and messages to objects, colors, or sounds in order to convey something in a much more condensed state is what this energy feels like. It’s a matter of process between these two energies, between the soul and the conscious mind.
Elemental Water Alignment: Bear — Earth
The Bear is about spiritual awakening as it starts off the entire deck, coming out of hibernation and gearing up for an explorative journey through the rest of the energies in the deck. With the Water Alignment being the realm of the emotions, intuition, and creativity, I saw this as her being in a constant state of “new beginning,” or constantly in a state of being ready to explore the inner world or explore the outer world through the lenses of the inner world.
It’s very open and loose, but still very grounded in her center, very self-aware.
Elemental Fire Alignment: Hawk — Air
Again, I saw the aspect of communication here with that Air and Fire mix, but here it’s much more soul-related. Like I said, her work influences people on a deep level as she displays her own dealings and processes towards facing her emotional and mental realms of being. The Hawk is labeled as a messenger of divinity and beyond just the superficial aspects of her writing, there is a connection there to activation and inspiration that she delivers to her audience.
Very similar to the description of this card, her work may not seem so extremely important on the surface, but on a soul level for those that feel a connection with her and her work, there is a lasting effect and feeling of catharsis that comes from it. It’s guidance basically. As she navigates her own inner world and relays her findings through her work, she, in a sense, helps others to navigate their own inner worlds.
Because this is in the Fire Alignment, this felt more like a filter, as if everything she does, at least a little bit, is processed through the Hawk, is projected through it. It resonates on a deeper level for everyone that feels connected to her, even if it doesn’t seem like it should.
Elemental Earth Alignment: Dragon — Spirit
When a Spirit card shows up in an alignment it shows that that area is synced up with the Higher Self or higher consciousness, and with this being in the Earth Alignment, the area of physical connection and self-awareness, this seems even more significant. The Dragon is associated with the Solar Plexus, the core, the Sun of the body, which is what I was getting at when I said it seemed like everything was being projected through the Sun. Beyond her actual Sun Sign imprinting, she is projecting through the soul and being lead by the soul between Air and Fire which focuses on transformation through analysis and communication.
The Dragon represents hyperawareness of the self and of purpose as well as an ability to recognize the ego and the ability to separate the ego from the conscious state. In the description of the card, there are even references to this energy lending to a person being able to observe themselves and others both internally and externally, as shown by the Crow and the Cobra. The Dragon is described as a visionary with highly creative potential and success as this energy focuses on the realm of the will and can really help someone make moves in alignment with their own soul.
The aspect of breathing Fire, or speaking Fire, speaking the soul is here too.
Elemental Air Alignment: Zebra — Fire
Speaking of visionary, that’s exactly what the Zebra is. The Air Alignment relates to a conscious level thought process and communication, and yet again this is combined with a Fire energy. The Zebra almost hits me with an Aquarius vibe as it tends to bring change and a new wave of energy simply because it can see beyond the current state of the collective being. It is labeled as a “fashion-forward” and “worldly” energy suggesting a higher perspective coming from many different experiences, literally being well-traveled both literally and figuratively in terms of traveling the inner world.
With this, her creative vision, her way of seeing things, and in turn communicating them is very… Aquarius. It’s weird. It looks weird and sounds weird to a lot of people, but it hits on such a high level that people really can’t help but make sense of it and relate to it to some degree.
Higher Self Core Alignment: Nightingale — Air
For her higher self core alignment, the placement that shows what energy the Higher Self is trying to push down into the core in order to move her forward, she has the Nightingale. Considering all the other energies, I would have assumed this kind of energy would have already existed within her, this ability to speak freely and express herself without any shame or regard for how others perceive her, but I suppose being a performer is going to put that kind of pressure on anyone at any level.
This can also be an aspect of conscious level communication of the soul, as being very open and direct with her way of communicating or sharing guidance with people. This could even be like a book or some other medium of communication that is different than what she has done before as the Nightingale does relate to creative work as well.
