Details: The Relationships & Connections reading is designed to showcase the romantic, platonic, or familial relationship between two people and put their connection into perspective by presenting what is gained and from the relationship as well as the highest potential of it.

Pre-Reading:

These two, at this point, were very difficult to read specifically because they don’t really mesh energetically nor do they connect fully on a soul level due to their development as separate souls. I assume they had more lifetimes in which they were unrelated and came together only for a short while before separating again. That makes sense considering their position in the Soul Body, what they are meant to be doing within the group, and how they are meant to handle things in terms of their integration.

On a conscious level, however, there is a lot of similarities between them especially in terms of their intuition and receptibility, however, Jin has really intellectualized it and has put it to good use whereas Yoongi has kept it held within his conscious and subconscious mind.

There’s a similar need for both of them or just a drive on a soul level to connect with the soul and improve the self through group work and collective service, but they differ based on how that is done. They’re doing the same thing with the same drive behind it, but the actual execution of it is very, very different.

So, this, I assume, puts them at a really nice place consciously where they are able to kind of vibe with each other, or sympathize with each other when it comes to personal matters, maybe lend an ear, but not really be able to point them in the right direction or tell them how to go about doing certain things.

Like, they’re in the same river, but in different boats and going in two different directions just to meet up on the other side of the patch of land that the river runs around. That’s the visual I have for that. Only when they pass each other, only when they happen to be in the same position and line up perfectly right can they actually extend decent aid because, technically, Jin would be heading the way that Yoongi just came and Yoongi would be heading to where Jin just was.

It’s very impersonal almost in terms of how they connect within the soul because, obviously, that connection is there, but it’s at such opposition in nearly every way, including in the core, that they come off as co-workers.

They’re both just very independent and even though they are both extremely aware of the other’s perceptions and receptibility, they don’t seek each other out because with all of that they are aware that they can’t really help each other.

On the surface level, I suppose it would be like Yoongi, the introverted Water energy trying to suggest to Jin, the extroverted Fire energy to let things pass and move on, while Jin suggests to Yoongi that he needs to go out into the world and fuck shit up to make his point known. That’s the kind of “different direction” I’m talking about. They’re mindsets and how they choose to assert themselves and interact with the world around them is very different, polar opposites actually.

But then on the very surface of the conscious level, there’s this somewhat forced level of respect on Yoongi’s part that Jin enforces. And I say it’s forced not because Yoongi doesn’t actually respect Jin, it’s more so because they feel like equals. Same water, same boats, just moving in different directions. They’re on the same level and they can really feel that but Jin is more assertive from the core, so wherever he can expect respect, he will demand it, and Yoongi, is more laid back so he will hand that respect over.

BUT!!!

As we all know, Jin isn’t exactly super overly-adamant about the whole age respect thing, so why would he let that roll into his relationship with Yoongi and why would Yoongi follow it through just the same?

Well, it’s because their opposition requires balance. This way of keeping one under the other on a conscious level is being implemented specifically because it’s the reverse thing in the Soul Body.

In the Soul Body, Yoongi is the most domineering energy, even more prominent than Namjoon, while Jin could be considered the weakest specifically because his core energy has to be blocked off from the collective energy of the body and used to balance and streamline what is being projected by Kook and Taehyung. So, there’s this very unconscious need to enforce a reverse dynamic on the conscious level either to maintain balance or literally just to compensate.

So, with Jin and Yoongi they can seem pretty distant at times or when you think of “classic pairings” they may not come to mind with a lot of people, but for those that really zero in on it and pay attention you see those moments of “sparks” where they pass each other in the water, where they are in this state of energetic connection following a heart-to-heart where they weren’t able to advise each other, but they were able to just listen and allow the other to talk.

It’s not deep, it’s not heavy, it’s not anything other than two polar opposites on occasion crossing paths and having a moment where they just listen to each other.

Lol, it’s literally like a Solar Eclipse.

Like people don’t really think too much of the fact that the Sun and Moon are polar opposites because sometimes we see the Moon right next to the Sun, coexisting without any issues. And of course, the Moon gives us light just like the Sun and even though that light is the Sun’s, they’re still doing the same job. So, there’s not a lot of room for people to really see the difference or even pay attention to the relationship between the Sun and Moon until there is an Eclipse.

When there’s an Eclipse, when they line up perfectly, when Jin and Yoongi meet in the water, then people are suddenly aware of the fact that these are two separate bodies, with two separate energies, two separate functions on two separate paths sitting in the same sky doing the same job.

It’s kind of ironic that most people tend to see how different and separate they are at the moment in which they are the closest and the most similar, but I guess that’s kind of their thing. They both like to throw people off in their own ways.

So, the first set out with this layout was The High Priestess and the 10 of Swords which is how they connect energetically. They both have the receptibility and the knowing of The High Priestess, but their conscious perception of it, how they use it, and what they use it for is completely different to the point where if they try to work together through their inner knowing, they will pretty much land in the position of the 10 of Swords.

For a while, I couldn’t get any cards to come out because I was really focusing on their energy and their cores because I wanted to know how that actually worked with them and how they didn’t literally hate each other, but nothing was coming. Then I focused on their conscious connection, the boats in the water and all that, and that’s when I got The Hermit, The Emperor, and the 2 of Cups.

The 2 of Cups is literally that moment in the water where they pass each other, where they sync up within their understanding through the High Priestess and are able to level with each other. Even in the card’s image it reflects perfectly as a representative of the Divine Feminine and another of the Divine Masculine are shown to exchange cups of equal size and fill, their opposing qualities not really having any influence over the situation at all.

But then with the major cards on all sides, you can really see how small those moments are, how infrequent they can be where they perfectly line up.

On one side you have the Hermit representing Yoongi and his inner working towards the betterment of the world around him. And then there’s Jin within The Emperor as he goes about changing things on the outside, within his environment and his relationships in order to change things on the inside.

SAME WATER DIFFERENT DIRECTIONS.

Yoongi is in the realm of bettering himself and extending that through his work, his platform, anything at all in the hopes that people around him will shift with him, that the world will be better based on his own betterment.

Jin, the projecting Fire Sign, was a bit more proactive and started to change his world by putting up those boundaries, building those barriers between himself and the people who either were not receptive to his energy or were waiting to tear him down. He bettered his surroundings and in turn was able to better himself as he had no more reason to live in resistance to it.

Considering their positions in the Soul Body, Yoongi would need to be more internally oriented as he is what essentially projects and “image” into the Soul Body, and then Jin, who is more externally oriented, is the one to refine the image, give it substance and project it down to Kook and Taehyung where it is then projected again, this time much more solidly manifested to the collective or the 3D space.

One is very broad and spread out, the other is tighter and controlled in terms of energy, but they really are working towards the same things. Like, it still confuses me a little bit, but it’s still pretty dope.

Energetic Contributions To The Relationship:

Jin: Ace of Cups (rev.) | Yoongi: The Sun (rev.)

This honestly makes it seem like they’re just trying to spite each other by purposely projecting the other’s own energy in reverse.

It’s a hilarious thought, but it’s not so much the case, this really is their own energy being projected, it just happens to be the exact opposite of the others because SAME WATER DIFFERENT DIRECTIONS and all that.

For Jin with his Ace of Cups in reverse, it’s really showing that loud and vibrant kind of energy that he has where it can seem like he has no filter or now real guidelines to what is appropriate and what is too much. Then for Yoongi with the Sun in reverse, there’s this more pessimistic, quiet kind of vibe.

Now, this would make a lot of sense because that sounds like them, but the same message could have come across with different cards, so why is this being shown as them literally being inverted versions of each other?

It’s because these pieces exist within them upright and reversed. Kind of like the Yin-Yang symbol where there are tiny pieces of the opposite side in each one. So, while Jin’s Ace of Cups is in reverse and he shows little restraint with his emotions and expression, he still has the ability to flip that card around, it’s not a foreign thing to him to be more in control of himself and a situation. The same goes for Yoongi. He comes off quiet and pessimistic to most people, but everyone knows he’s got the light water Pisces going just as much as the dark water Pisces.

So, they exist within each other and in those moments where they pass each other in the water, it’s almost like they can suddenly see those tiny pieces where they are present in each other. So, they’re aware of their differences, but within those differences, they can see their similarities as well, which is pretty cool.

How They See The Relationship:

Jin: Two of Pentacles | Yoongi: The Moon

This is another great show of how Yoongi’s respect for Jin really goes past any feeling of opposition or misunderstanding, and the same goes for Jin.

Even if he enforces the respect thing, Jin still has that inner awareness and conscious understanding that he and Yoongi are perfectly equal. They are two sides of the same coin in a sense. Even the image of the card really plays into the idea of not really knowing how they balance or how they are equal, but still being able to feel that they are based on the exchange of weight from one hand to the other as the man juggles them, letting them rotate around each other, but never meet in one hand together.

Yoongi’s view really vibed with what I was getting for him a while back with how he connects to Jin and how he sees Jin as this source of guidance even when they don’t really mesh or understand each other all the time. The Moon here is really carrying its own energy, the idea of something being hidden away or just under the surface, the subconscious mind.

I was really seeing this as being an awareness of the fact that Jin is carrying the reversed Ace of Cups, the reversed version of Yoongi. This awareness sort of lends into Yoongi seeing the potential in Jin being able to show him a side of himself that he is not familiar with. Like, they are projecting the inverted version of each other, however, the reversed Sun and the reversed Ace of Cups are not the opposites in the situation.

Like, one card isn’t black and the other white, they both carry their own opposition, so basically, you could see the Ace of Cups upright as being the black part of the Yin-Yang symbol while the sun in reverse is the tiny white bit. Then that would make the Sun upright the white side and the reversed Ace of Cups the tiny black bit.

So, Yoongi, as the Ace of Cups would be able to look to Jin to see a part of himself that he has not seen before, which would be the Ace of Cups in reverse. It’s offering a new perspective.

Yoongi is aware of his emotional state, he’s aware of his personal issues, but is he aware of how he acts on them? Is he aware of how he expresses it to other people? For Jin, he’s aware of his projection and how he expresses himself, his fearlessness towards standing up for himself, but is he always aware of it when he takes it too far? Is he always aware when he crosses the line of confidence and starts vibing with his ego?

They literally allow each other to see themselves from a different perspective by embodying the inverted personality of the other. Obviously, when you are in a low place or when you are in your ego, having someone point it out in a way where it seems like they’re trying to spite you or imply they know all about you when they’re usually clueless, it can bring a lot of tension and arguments at times, but for the most part it seems like they’re aware that those arguments are actually incredibly beneficial on both sides for maintaining self-awareness.

Still happens about as often as an eclipse though.

Current State of The Relationship: Ten of Swords

Ten of Swords is here again and it’s no different than what it was in the energy reading. It’s not necessarily bad, it’s just showing that separation energetically as it relates to their conscious connection. A lot of it has to do with how they communicate and how they work together through their separate thought processing.

Because of how different they think and how differently they see each other, the 10 of Swords can kind of be their default state where they definitely don’t hate each other or anything but are definitely not trying to go out and solve a crime together or something.

Really it’s just an awareness and maybe an over-awareness of how they don’t quite sync up when it comes to how they think and therefore can be putting even more of a break in their soul connection.

It’s like what I talked about with Taehyung and Kook's Relationship Reading where they are able to stay together specifically because they developed their souls separately very early on. This here with Jin and Yoongi is kind of what happens when they stay separated for too long, they just sort of get stuck in that opposing position.

Highest Potential: Two of Swords

And just to round things off with the 10 of Swords, the Two of Swords is here in the Highest Potential position.

This really hit me as it is maybe not necessary, but preferred that they have more moments and for longer periods of time where they are aligned. More stops in the water, more eclipses, things like that.

Really, they just need to sort of work their way backward by reconnecting consciously and then working their way down to the soul in order to revive that connection and rather than a literal juggling act where they are two very, very different and separate souls, they can come back to a more literal two sides of the same coin where their differing perspectives are much more utilized for things outside of themselves.

That’s all I have for this one, thanks for reading!
