Just in terms of their projected energy, these two were vibing pretty well together, so I checked their profiles to see what their Sun Signs were. Turns out, they are both Capricorns and the card that I pulled for the energy between them, the Ace of Pentacles, reflected that pretty well. Pentacles are associated with elemental Earth and the Ace itself holds a strong power for initiation, similar to the Cardinal modality of the zodiac. Putting those to things together gives you Cardinal Earth, or Capricorn, but here it’s very highly developed and stable between them.

Because it was the Ace of Pentacles rather than The Devil card, which is traditionally associated with Capricorn, it feels a lot clearer and sharper, more refined overall. There’s a lot of focus on work and money, focus on success, and a focus on improving the self and their way of life. It’s about as pure as it can be when it comes to matters of the 10th House or Capricorn.

They seem to share a lot of similarities in their way of thinking as well, like they just kind of get each other when it comes to how they operate with business and career. I imagine they probably admire each other’s work ethic, or they find it very easy to work with each other because they have such a similar way of operating with a streamlined focus. Basically, the give each other no distractions when it matters. I was also seeing that they can be very “sneaky” together. It’s like they can outsmart everyone around them and they know it, but they keep their evil genius lifestyles lowkey because, you know, Capricorns be like that sometimes.

In terms of what each of them contributes to the relationship, Kyungsoo brings a lot of creative energy with that Ace of Cups, a good amount of Water energy to really soften things in a way where that rock hard Earth becomes a bit more flexible or adaptable. Jongin contributes 6 of Wands, a strong boost of Fire energy, but one that is particularly charged up with confidence and self-assurance. This actually creates a strong foundation for creation and manifestation overall as the mixture of their shared Earth energy and that Water energy creates the energy of wet clay or fertile soil, something that anything can be formed out of, or anything can be grown from it. The Fire energy is like the oven that bakes the clay into place, it’s the spotlight that is put on the finished piece, it’s what attracts the outside world towards the final product. It’s very interesting.

To finish off, I pulled some more cards to see on what level they have the strongest connection. Obviously, they definitely have a strong connection through their projected energy as displayed above, but they also have a strong conscious connection and a strong soul connection. The soul connection actually felt a lot like siblings or close family, so that could be some residual connection from a shared past life, or that could just be what they themselves, on that level, had defined it as which can really contribute positively to the conscious connection as they would be more receptive and understanding towards each other. These particularly strong connections on these levels give their relationship a natural or organic feel, although that might just be me feeling that Earthy energy again, but everything is very smooth on these deeper levels.

I also thought it was interesting that they seem to mirror each other between the Ace of Cups/6 of Wands combination and Strength with The High Priestess. Strength and the Ace of Cups mix Fire and Water on Kyungsoo’s side, putting the Water more towards a conscious projection with the Fire on an unconscious projection. For Jongin, he consciously projects Fire with the 6 of Wands, but has an unconscious projection of Water with The High Priestess. And where they have a highly potent spark of initiation between them consciously with the Ace of Pentacles, they have a slightly lower, but more stable initiator between them on a higher level with the Page of Wands.

So, basically, they’re like a solid structure of these braided cords that stretch between them on multiple layers. It’s like they can tether each other and really provide a lot of stability and a sense of understanding for the other. I imagine that even if they get into arguments, especially while working on something together, there’s always that underlying understanding between them that can override the more prideful sides of their characters, and that can be a major factor in them finding compromise and continuing the creative process as equals.
