Details: The Elemental Alignment reading is designed to showcase an individual's energetic alignment and balance with the elements, then compare it to that of the Higher Self's alignments.
Pre-Reading:
Since I’m doing this reading so far in advance (July 2019), I wanted to focus on imprinted energy more than the current state of her energy for this portion of the reading. With this, based on imprints, she got Strength, The Chariot, The Fool, and The Sun, which all really rounded up to her being destined for success based around a clear vision, ambition, and confidence in her own abilities to actually achieve what she wants. There is this bigger picture vibe to it that is with her consciously, a sense of purpose to it that she is aware of, kind of like understanding that where her passion lies is where her purpose is as well.
It’s very solid and clear as her core energy, her Sun Sign, would be in alignment or share positive aspects to energies like Saturn, Pluto, or the North Node — all of which can lead to an “easy” climb to the top in the sense that those opportunities were easy to come by even if the work itself in between was challenging and difficult. There’s so much yellow in these cards and that’s the illumination and clarity that is present with these images, with these people present in the images. They are all within a higher vibration and are moving forward and overcoming obstacles collectively, all moving towards aspects of The Sun, which is joy, happiness, and fulfillment.
The Reading:
Current State of Core Energy: Turtle — Water
I really love the Turtle here, it’s one of my favorite cards. The Turtle is a well-rounded and finely grounded Water energy that is able to really allow itself to be carried by the currents, to be guided through life and through change simply because no matter where it ends up or what obstacles it is led through, it is able to find comfort and stability within itself, within its shell.
People who carry this energy in their core are typically very self-aware and very confident with the moves that they make in their lives as they have a fundamental understanding that if anything goes wrong, or if they fail, they have a home base to return to that is always available and always welcoming. It’s not a place reliant on other people or anything outside of themselves.
Especially with Taeyeon being a Pisces, this very balanced Water energy here that combines Water and Earth energy gives me the vibe of a Pisces that has learned how to balance with her opposing factors of Virgo, has learned to balance the internal world with the external world, align the dream with the process of manifestation. As I mentioned in the reading, she is someone who understands that her purpose (Virgo) is where her heart is (Pisces). If she can feel something, she can genuinely conjure it and find success in it.
Basically, she has incredible intuition and a sense from self-guidance through self-awareness and this is anchored very finely to the conscious level process to the point where moving through obstacles and facing challenges is second nature for her to overcome when on a path towards something she holds a passion for.
Elemental Water Alignment: Oyster — Water (rev.)
When I first saw this card laid out in reverse I was a bit confused but after really feeling into her core energy in the previous set, this makes a lot more sense. Because so much of her intuition and creative processes are being geared towards her conscious mind and being used constantly as tools in her life, they are integrated outside of the Water Alignment. They are way more present in the core energy and the Air Alignment (Conscious level thought processing.) So, that leaves the emotional center here in the Water Alignment.
As she uses so much of her internal world to shape and form the external world she really does have that foundational, grounded, work-oriented mindset where these aspects are in fact tools. It’s more like common sense and analysis over intuition and communication, so her emotions, just like everyone, present to her a space of instability and fluidity, something that could possibly throw her off or overwhelm her in times of stress. It’s something that could potentially spill out, so she contains it.
This is definitely far away from her actually repressing her emotions or something like that, it’s not that at all, it’s more like she’s keeping them in her back pocket, applying a “time and place” kind of mentality to how she chooses to process them and express them. It’s good to pour her emotions into a project for her work, but it’s not good to accidentally spill out from stress and disrupt the process of her business which I’m sure involves plenty of other people. It’s good to be open with close and trusted people, but it’s not good to put her vulnerabilities on display to just anyone as just anyone might take advantage of that.
She’s careful, but she’s not stone cold when it comes to her emotions. The Oyster holds and protects those parts of her, but whenever the time is right she can open it up and let everything flow as it needs to.
Elemental Fire Alignment: Rabbit — Earth (rev.)
This here feels hyped up, like majorly hyped up. Typically the Rabbit energy is carrying a lot of anxiety from over-stimulation as this stable and grounded Earth energy is being influenced by Fire — a play on the prey being on alert for a predator. However, here as it is reversed, the symbol of the Earth element becomes the symbol for the Air element, and with that being in the Fire Alignment, there’s this positive stimulation happening.
As I was seeing this, it’s like she is very stimulated, but because she has such a good grip on the Earth energy, she can streamline that stimulation, direct it at will towards things that she wants to do and accomplish. That can sometimes lend to having a bit of a scattered mind, focusing on too many things at once, having an overly-busy schedule, but it’s something that she enjoys to some extent. Anything that involves her having the opportunity to bring ideas to life, to create something, she’s willing to make time for and really give it her all.
That classic visual for Earth and Water creating clay came to mind, and with this placement here, it’s combining Air and Fire with it as well. The Earth and Water create the clay, Air provides the process in which the clay is spun and formed into… whatever she wants to make, and then the Fire aspect is the point where that clay is baked and solidified.
Elemental Earth Alignment: Swan — Water
The Earth Alignment is where you can see an individual’s connection to the physical space, their body, as well as their level of self-awareness. For Taeyeon, quite obviously, her sense of self and her own being are her Earth Alignment, she is her own foundation and that is exactly what the Swan reflects.
The Swan energy is a mix of Water and Air energy as it is associated with creativity and artistry, but with a particular focus on communication through those aspects of Water energy. Similar to the Turtle, the Swan flows with the currents, but as the Earth Alignment would suggest, this is where she keeps her head above the Water. It’s the bridge between the deeper parts of her emotions and creativity and the more grounded and conscious state of her work process and actual creation.
The Swan is described as a sensitive mystic and an energy filled with infinite creative energy, something that needs to detach from the outside world on occasion in order to detox and unload all of what is picked up throughout the day. Again, this is her foundation, her home base, her shell that she can retreat into, where she can choose to sit on the surface of the water rather than be pulled through the currents and where she can have time to rest and really dream things up before she has to put everything back into action.
Elemental Air Alignment:
Dragon — Spirit | Sea Serpent — Spirit
As I mentioned, the intuition and creativity of the Water Alignment were pushed into the conscious level processing of the Air Alignment where it is used as a tool, and that is what is being shown here with the Dragon and the Sea Serpent. Whenever a Spirit card shows up in an alignment it shows that that particular area is already in perfect alignment with the Higher Self, which I suppose makes sense for Taeyeon as she has been shown now to be extremely in touch with higher aspects of herself enough that she has “unlocked” and accessed tools and resources from her own soul that she uses now to succeed in her career. Even if she does not hold this awareness consciously, she is still accessing it on that level.
The Sea Serpent is associated with the Sacral Chakra, the point of passion and creation in all forms. As I see it, while the Solar Plexus, the Sun of the body, the core, is constantly projecting whatever the current state of the core is, the Sacral Chakra only projects when you are in the mode of creation or trying to manifest something. It can be triggered unconsciously, but anytime you’re pulling something into your life or you’re trying to produce something yourself, it is centered in the Sacral Chakra.
The Dragon is associated with the Solar Plexus which, as I mentioned, is like the Sun of the body, constantly projecting the current state of the core. Both the Sacral and Solar Plexus are points of pure projection alongside the Root Chakra. They are more masculine energies, electric energies, energies that push the will of the soul out into the world. They balance the receptive/magnetic chakras — the Crown Chakra, Third Eye, and Throat — and merge with them in the Heart Chakra, the center.
As they are here together, this shows that Taeyeon’s conscious level thought process and her way of communicating is all based within the will of the soul. She is consciously guided by the soul, which is the same thing as being guided by your passions, your love, your happiness, which is what was shown with the Turtle energy in the core as well as her energy reading.
Higher Self Core Alignment: Black Egg — Spirit
The Higher Self Core Alignment shows what energy the Higher Self is currently trying to push down into the core in order to help further the process of the current phase of soul progression or to initiate a new one entirely. As this is a Spirit card, this can point to a pretty big shift in energy, mindset, and potentially path as well.
The Black Egg is associated with the Throat Chakra and brings about clear and truthful communication without any kind of filter brought on by shame or fear. It’s about letting the world know you just as much as you know yourself, and I feel like the level of self-awareness that she has and the kind of connection she has with her soul is something that she doesn’t put out there. That deep awareness of herself may be one of those things or contain many of those things that she currently holds within the Oyster in the Water Alignment.
This process here that would be initiated with the Black Egg, I feel would be about projecting her will not only through her actions with her work but verbally. Literally standing up for herself, letting people know what's up, being clear and direct, taking charge of things that she may not be fully in charge of right now.
Basically, there is more to her that she could share with people, and when she does it will really open a lot of things up for her in this lifetime.
