How do Kook and Yugyeom connect?
December 28, 2018
Lol, I love this so much because whenever Kook has his energy outside of BTS he doesn’t come out at The Fool or the Page of Wands at all, like that is so far away from him.
So, this was really cool because as for the energy they are bringing to the relationship Kook has The High Priestess underneath the King of Swords, so like intuition under logic. And then Yugyeom has the Tower under The Hermit, which is like very harsh logic under conscious level intuition. So, they’re like… inverses of each other, but also at completely opposite ends of the spectrum.
But there’s a purpose to this. Pretty much what is happening here is that The Tower is bringing down The High Priestess, the more extremes that each of them have are being canceled out by each other. So, it’s like when they come together, those parts of them slowly fade out and then they’re left with the King of Swords and The Hermit, which leads to very deep philosophical conversations about what they’re doing with their lives and how they feel about their careers.
BUT!! It takes a lot for them to get there, like time. It takes a lot of time, or a lot of talking to actually get there because, you know, Kook is an introverted Virgo and Yugyeom is a Scorpio so like… they’re both weird about opening up about really personal things even with close friends.
The way they see each other though is nice because they’re picking up on levels that aren’t very deep but also aren’t superficial. Like, just straight up, they’re seeing each other as friends. Kook is seeing Yugyeoms more sensitive and welcoming side, the stability in his emotional (water) energy, while Yugyeom is seeing Kook’s real bombastic nature. Like all his ~Golden Maknae~ shit, Yugyeom is seeing where that actually comes from.
And this is my favorite part. Their energy mixes in the 6 of Swords and immediately I got this image of two old men fishing and then it immediately flashed to both Kook and Yugyeom in the boat on the card. Pretty much it’s one of those things where once teenagers hit their 20’s and they start feeling old and like their life is running away from them, but they’re still trying to enjoy themselves, that’s it. That’s the philosophical stuff they talk about, lol.
They’re both very, very sentimental people and they talk about how their youth is gone and they never got a chance to experience it and it’s kind of sad, but it’s also a great release for both of them.
I like them together, good friends.
