How do Yoongi and Kook connect?
December 28, 2018
Ooh, this is really cool because this kind of shows that they connect energetically very similar to the way Yoongi does with Namjoon, but it’s more surface level, more fundamental, which makes sense with where Kook is on with his own soul shit and how he connects with people in general.
For the energy they are bringing into the relationship, Kook has #HisCard which is The Fool and Yoongi has the Ace of Pentacles. It’s that kind of teacher and student sort of vibe that they have here. Yoongi is a provider to Kook on many levels from emotional support to just straight up buying him stuff, lol.
That connection, the aspect of fertile soil being made through The Empress is what I see as being very similar to Namjoon and Yoongi’s connection. It’s the balance between Yoongi’s Water core and Kook’s Earth core. The only real difference here is that Kook doesn’t really give back to Yoongi what Yoongi gives to him. With Yoongi and Namjoon it’s an equal exchange. But like I said, Yoongi is acting as a provider, he is very willfully handing over more to Kook because he’s seeing him as someone who needs more than him.
More specifically, Yoongi is seeing Kook as the 10 of Wands there, someone who pushes themselves past their limits. In Yoongi’s eyes, when he gives something to Kook it’s always a gift, always giving him something that he won’t have to go out and get for himself… if that makes sense. It’s like “oh, you wanted to work five extra shifts over the holidays and wear yourself out so you could buy this video game?? Oh, oops, I already bought it for you. Come take a rest, we can play it together.” That’s the vibe.
And in a similar fashion, Kook is seeing Yoongi as the 8 of Pentacles, someone who is very work-oriented, very focused on their craft. He’s actually really focused on observing him, which is funny because I’ve been getting that with Kook for a while. He’s just been watching people a lot lately.
So, yeah, the relationship is slightly imbalanced but that’s mostly because Yoongi is seeing Kook as an overworked child that he can help take care of and Kook is seeing Yoongi as someone who is above him, someone that he can learn from. So there’s that respect thing playing into it, but they care about each other very, very much.
