Right away, just feeling into Leo Season a tiny little bit, things really feel charged up and ready to take off. In the Cancer Season reading, everything that I touched on for the last week and a half or so seemed to point to preparation for big things, big changes, and a lot of new beginnings, and that’s pretty much what’s showing up here in the collective reading for Leo Season now. Since there is so much bubbling up here, I want to take time and break down all of what came out in the cards for you guys just so you can get a better idea of what I’m seeing here.

First off, the main energies of Leo Season show up here as Communication, Allowance, and Emergence. In this context, Communication is more about bridging gaps, creating connections, creating space for a transition from one state to another. It feels more like Communication should be labeled as “translation” here as words, thoughts, forms, realities are being shifted to be seen from one lens to another. Communication is supplemented there with Riches (Saturn in Capricorn) which quite literally felt like “translating” money into tools or products. More specifically, it feels like taking inventory of what you have right now, everything you have available to you right now, and recognizing how it can be used in order to get you where you want to go over the next few months. It made me think of one of my grand life motos, “use what you HAVE to get what you NEED so you can do what you WANT.”

Allowance here is pretty interesting as it was supplemented by Control (Jupiter in Capricorn). At first glance, it’s an odd pair as they seem to oppose each other, one being about having control and the other encouraging a lack of control, but they create a pretty nice vibe here. Really, what’s being displayed is the allowance of control, quite literally allowing yourself to step into control, step into authority. For a lot of people, getting out of routines, out of regulation, is actually pretty hard as we can find a lot of comfort in the hive-mind conformity of expectation and standards, even if we all speak against it. Opportunities for true independence or true self-control can be perceived as life-ruining and even dangerous when they come up specifically because they serve to tear away all of those walls and foundations that were built up around us by other people or society as a whole. In spite of their restrictive qualities, we can still find a sense of home within those walls, and it may take more effort than expected to liberate ourselves from them.

Now, it may not actually be that dramatic, it really could just be a matter of taking control of your health and wellness, taking it upon yourself to ask for a promotion, or switch up your major in University. It could be more fundamental, but for some of you, it could be an opportunity for something life-altering on a much bigger scale that could require you to be really in charge of things and able to make pretty big decisions for an extended period of time.

Emergence, which was supplemented by Generosity (Saturn in Leo), is the bit that actually feels very, very LEO in the sense that this set calls for us to be generous by allowing people to see us, hear us, know us. It’s like we all are being encouraged to adopt some qualities of Leo and see ourselves as a gift that just has to be shared with the world. Such a vibe, honestly. Emergence itself does carry a lot of qualities of the 5th House, relating to childlike wonderment and creative self-expression, as well as the formation and display of chosen identity.

What I found most interesting, and most exciting really, was the emphasis put on the 10th House between all three of these initial sets. In the center there is Riches with Saturn in Capricorn, Saturn ruling Capricorn, both ruling the 10th House. Then, to the left, there is Jupiter in Capricorn, and on the right, Saturn in Leo. There’s this fanning out of this 10th House energy, and it gave me this image of gates opening up, specifically the gates of the 10th House, the House of higher purpose and reward.

With this, it really feels like this Leo Season is going to be a starting point for a lot of people where they really shift into their higher path, they find their calling, and they follow consciously and intuitively the guidance of their own will and desires, their own passion. There’s been a lot of build-up, a lot of having to push through, work around, or overcome obstacles especially in the realm of personal fulfillment, and now it seems like a lot of people are going to be able to finally catch a break and get into a mode of smoother sailing.

The external guidance here, which centers more around advice towards external action, how to work with the situations, or energy around you through the season, there’s a strong pull towards spiritual presence. It’s an interesting mix as all of this really goes into external, physical, tangible change and progression, but this set here drives home the importance of spiritual and energetic awareness.

On top, you have the Lion Spirit (very fitting) with the message, “be generous of spirit,” which goes back to Emergence and Generosity. It brings about that Leo vibe, again suggesting that we could all benefit from tapping into Leo energy through whatever conduits we may have in our own birth charts. Alongside the Lion, there is the Crow Spirit, which says, “Co-create with Spirit.” This card is referring to Spirit as in a higher power, but I was taking it more literally, more in line with the “spirit” that the Lion is referring to — the spirit of the self, the essence of your being, your true self, your soul. Again, this seems to marry the more physical, more external progression with the more internal, spiritual, mental, and emotional progression that has already been made. Use what you HAVE — yourself, your soul, is something you always have, no matter what. Work with that, create with that.

I really don’t know how to explain fully in words what this feels like, but there’s a visual thing happening in my head that makes me think there’s a subtle awakening here for a lot of people. The conscious connection to and recognition of the soul feels very guaranteed through the aspect of authentic self-expression, a commitment to honoring yourself as you are, and going after what you want — the soul guidance and drive toward a higher path will simply fall into place after.

The last card there with the external guidance is the Chameleon Spirit, which simply says, “act as if…” In other words, fake it ‘till you make it. Again, this just really screamed LEO to me in the sense of a lot of Leo Suns, from the outside looking in, seem to so easily believe in themselves, speak of themselves as winners before even competing, and then managing to sky-rocket themselves to success on the backbone of their own confidence in their skills and talents. With this, the Ace of Wands came to mind as well. There’s definitely a “take control” vibe here, take control not only of your surroundings but your vision, your perception of your surroundings, and your relation to them. It’s making me think of like daily affirmation type things, the effort behind shifting your perception through repeated positive phrasing, but here it’s much more physical. Like, don’t just think it, don’t just say it, DO IT. Do it like you already know you’re going to win.

On the other end, you’ve got your internal guidance, which here I centered around advice for the soul and spirit while moving through Leo Season with all this stimulation and opportunities for big change. First, there is the Full Moon in Gemini, which says, “the answers you need are coming.” This is a statement of comfort and encouragement, something that feels very connected to the Chameleon Spirit in the sense that faking it can cause some confusion, some feelings of being out of place or lost, but the Full Moon in Gemini here assures you that you’re gonna figure things out. Everything is going to fall into place and make sense around you and within you. Even if you have absolutely no idea where to begin or which direction to go in, be patient, things are universally coming together.

The last two cards, the Waxing Moon and the Waxing Crescent Moon, present the encouragement to hold on tight to your vision of your future, your dreams, your goals, and your desires. “Have faith in your dreams,” because, “the energy is gaining momentum.” A lot of people are literally standing right on the edge of the threshold of a higher path, a whole new experience that very well could take you straight to the very life that you have always envisioned for yourself, or at least a piece of it. There is so much energy building up in support of positive personal growth and change. As I said, there are doorways opening up, and walking through them could cause a bit of unease, a bit of confusion as things get tossed around within that transition, but no matter what, keep your eye on the prize and see yourself as the winner.
